These slim window units are way too expensive. All other AC are cheaper. But it works good and cools wonderfully.

This air conditioner cools amazingly well. It has a great range of settings. The only thing I wasn't happy with was how the window mounting kit it came with didn't fit my window. It wasn't too hard to rig up a different mount though.

I had to purchase a vertical unit because my windows won't allow anything else. I chose this one simply because it was the cheapest! Honestly, I hate that you have to pay more for a vertical unit, but it really does cool my entire house. I was amazed at it's cooling abilities & would recommend it to anyone else in my situation.
