Got this one to limit access for the pets. Both large and small dogs and a cat. Works really well. Best part is the way to open and close the gate with one hand. If you need to get up at night and have to get somewhere fairly quick without a lot of fumbling, this is the gate for you. It easily opens with one hand, and be secured with ease. Yet it has a snap lock option that will would be a challenge for little hands. Gate is easily installed and looks nice. It is metal so the dogs can't chew it up. I did the pick up at the store so no delivery fee. Overall a good deal and much cheaper than one at the pet store.

In general I like Regalo gates. They tend to be good quality.
MEASUREMENT WARNING, though: I bought this gate for a 36" opening. The description says that it fits up to 39"...but this is with the extension. Without the extension this gate is really only effective for openings probably closer to 33".
To fit my 36" opening the tension rods had to be extended out too far to build proper tension. They often pop out of the gate or get unaligned making the gate pop open. I've had to completely readjust the gate several times.
I plan to move this gate to a smaller opening and get a different gate to replace it.

We have gates that we've paid twice the price for, and this gate is so much better. It is so easy to install (recommend screwing it into the wall). And I'm not sure why people said that it doesn't fit all sizes, because it does. You let the screws dictate how wide a space (you'll figure it out). Anyway, its the best gate for the price. The lip at the bottom is a bit high and takes some getting used to.

We have purchased 3 of these gates. With a newborn and a 6 year old they have come in very handy. Our 6 year old can use these gates without any help. They are easy to install, easy to use, and durable. We have 2 dogs, and the gates keep them out of the kids' rooms. They are also more affordable than the other options we considered.

This product saved the day for us. Our super strong special needs 3 year old would rip the cheap wooden ones out of the doorway. We purchased this one and he can't even budge this one even though we have it only pressure mounted. We love it and wish we had ordered it sooner. It was well worth the price.

I really liked this product, it works really well in my hallway. The only issues I have are: the bar that goes across the bottom of the gate is way too thick, my child and me and my husband have tripped over it. The other thing is: for being a child gate to contain children out of a certain area, it only took my two year old one day to figure out how to unlock and open the gate

I bought this gate to use to block off my 5 yr old's room from the baby. I specifically wanted a pressure mount gate because I didn't want holes to fill in later. This gate is exactly what I was looking for. It installed easily; I followed the directions and was able to install it by myself in just a few minutes. My 5 yr old is able to open and close the gate without any trouble. Now his toys are safe from baby, and baby is safe from big-kid toys. Perfect! I love it so much I ordered a second one for the master bedroom.

I bought this gate to keep my puppy from going upstairs in our house and I've had it for a month now and I love it. It doesn't need to be nailed into the wall which I like. It's kept in place well against the wall and my rail post by the rubber nobs and it's really easy to open. It also looks good. The gate is about 28 inches and I extended mine 1.5 inches on each side.

looks decent, very easy to set up its durable (so far so good) my 2 + 4year old can stand on the door or hang on it and the gate would stay in place.
The only thing to consider is that my 4 year old can open the gate, I wish there was an extra lock that even he couldn't open, but in my case it's not too much of a deal, so worth it's money, would buy it again !!
