In addition to detailed maps, the nuvi 350 provides automatic routing, turn-by-turn voice directions, an MP3 player, a JPEG picture viewer, a world travel clock, a currency converter and more. Please Note: A windshield mount is included with this GPS unit. Some states regulate use of the windshield mount. Please check with your state laws to ensure you are compliant. In states that prohibit use of the windshield mount, a dashboard mount (also included) may be required to use this GPS unit.

This is a good product. I saw it at BB online for 350 and thought I would shop aroung and saw it here for 199 and a 3yr warranty for 20+. BB was much more for the warranty too. It does a good job. I have used may before and this is up there with most of them. It has gotten me to the wrong address only once and it was way out there in the boonies, then it was only off by a few hundred feet. It also can take a few minutes to get the satellites. I do use this all over the country, so I usually tell it my home is wherever I am and it finds the sat's quicker. For the money, you can't go wrong with the unit. The display is brightly lit and it can be loud so you can really hear it. GOOD BUY!

The nuvi 350 is a handy tool but not something to be heavily depended on. The maps that come with the unit are missing alot of businesses and other locations. I hope garmin fixes this. other wise it is good but shold be used with common sense. Also the firmware update has to be performed b4 u can update the maps. Customer service is great but painfully slow. If they get the maps straight this would get 5 stars.

I bought this for my husband as a father's day gift because he loves electronics and I thought he would like it. I was wrong...he loves it! It is very accurate, so easy to use and just plain cool! I went with the Gramin name because it was the only name I recognized (I'm not into electronics) and it was on sale through this website. This model is well worth the money. There are more expensive ones out there, but this gives you everything you need. We liked it so much, we bought one for his parents too!

I first used this GPS on a weekend trip to a new city. It worked great. 98% of the time it took us right to the designated location. The other 2%, the GPS said the location was on the wrong side of the street or it was 100 ft from being accurate. Either way, it was waaaaaay more easier to follow than to look every destination up on a map. Highly recommend for the price. You can even set it it to keep you off of interstates/highways so you can see more of the city rather than cruising the interstate all day long.

Been playing with my Nuvi 350 for about 2 weeks. Simple to use. Does everything I expect. Used it for some geocaching and works fine. With all the memory it has it seems like it could hold a little more info on the custom POI's (geocaches for me). Used it on a short (2hr) trip for family funeral and it took me right to the church. It didn't take the route I would have, but I have no big complaints about the route it took. My wife liked the ability to find a resturant so we were not forced to hit the fast food right off the freeway. Four stars is a high rating from me. I'm still looking for that 5 star item. The 350 was a good buy, but I'll leave some room for improvement.

This Garmin will get you any where…. I was traveling to an area that I knew quite well but there were closings on the major expressways. I let the Garmin do the work and arrived in less time than if I used the expressways. The added bonus was traveling some road with scenery. Looking forward to the long trips that involve complicated directions.

I bought the Garmin nuvi 350 for my husband. I have a factory navigation system in my car and I actually like the Garmin portable much better! This GPS is small and easy to use. I love the text to speech option. The only dislike is it is hard to hear the directions with the radio on. Other than that it is a great product.

I bought my nuvi 350 as my first ever GPS and just used it on a 1765 mile, 6 day motorcycle tirp.. it definately made navigating much easier... especially in passing thru larger cities and locating lodging and restaurants... very accurate and easy to learn. My only disappointment was that it does not have customing routing available. if you want that, which is great for motorcycle touring, you need to step up to Garmin's 700, 800 and 5000 series for another $200 to $400. Overall it is a great value at the Walmart price and I like it.

I have bought a few of these in the last few years. Its a perfect gift and Garmin Nuvi 350 is the best convenient eazy to use GPS out there. I personally use the 360 which has 1 extra thing that is the bluetooth. 350/360 its compact eazy to use and once you learn how to use it you just get addicted to it.
