I bought this for my sons room thinking it would be solid. Well, we put it together, first their are scratches all over, secondly the drawers don't line up and they have a gap, and thirdly the thing rocks. My husband put it together yet it still is not solid. I am heavily disappointed. I bought this for my sons room thinking it would last him a while and now I am happy if I get through the next months. I would suggest buying a cheaper one, they look like they would be better.

Bought this dresser praying that it would match with the new bunk bed I purchased that was the same brand but different style. Everything worked out great and the set up was easy, and the drawers seem very sturdy... TIME WILL TELL.
Only complaint is the top of the dresser part was scratched on the end corners so we emailed customer service for a new part, they've already responded and it should be on its way within the next 2 days :)

What finish?

Can you tell me what color finish you got? I was trying to decide between the cherry or expresso to try to match to my son's crib. Some pictures the cherry looks very red & others like a deep merlot. From you picture it looks like it would match his crib perfectly so please tell me what finish you went with? Thanks

Was kind of difficult trying to figure out where the pieces went due to the pieces not being marked as the directions showed. Once the pieces where sorted out it was pretty simple to put together and looks good.

I bought this for my newest son. He is not here yet, but will be very very soon! It matches the other baby furniture from my oldest son. It was easy to assemble with the directions, looks nice, and most importantly the drawers roll perfect so far. I am using it most days to get ready for baby, but will use every day after arrival.

Huge Headache!

I bought the crib, 4 drawer dresser, dresser and storage unit, and the hutch. The crib is awesome but I absolutely hate the dressers! The cam locks all fall out causing the dressers to fall apart. The dresser and storage unit stay together because of the design but the drawers fall apart in that one. I have had to glue them together. On this dresser I had to glue the drawers together and put additional screws into the bars that go all the way across so now there are random screws on the outside making it look slightly tacky. I would not recommend this item or any other dresser of this brand to anyone.

The dresser didnt take very long to put together. It looks nice. The color was a good match to my daughters crib(charleston cherry). The only problem we had was on the bottom of the side panel there was a chunk of wood gone. We contacted the company and they are sending us a new side panel. Glad I purchased just hope it doesnt take to long to get the replacement piece and hope that one isnt damaged!!

Good size, disappointed with drawers

We have the matching changing table and needed a dresser. Thought this would be a great size for our toddler son, and it is. Really happy with what it will hold. Seems sturdy and we are happy that it is solid wood. A few frustrations though, the drawer slides are about half as long as the drawers so the drawers don't pull out all the way and it makes it hard to get clothes in and out of. Not sure why this is necessary when the dresser comes with braces to brace it to the wall, so that would eliminate any tipping over and would make the drawers a lot more useful. Also, below the 2nd drawer from the top, above the 2 drawer from the bottom there is a piece of wood, like a center brace, that restricts the amount of stuff you can put in that drawer. Kinda frustrating. The top of the dresser had a big black mark across it that, fortunately came off with a magic eraser. Also, the dresser had a processed/chemical smell that lasted for a week or more. It was so strong, we had to leave our son's door open at night.

i don't enjoy trying to match pieces with pictures. he screws were all put together in one bag. then trying to find the right ones not fun. after i finally figured out what went were got it together the next day. I purchased this as a gift for my daughter and her husband for their daughter. it looks real good with the rest of the furniture. which is also Cherry. but purchased at a different place but matches beautifully.

We got this dresser for our little one that's arriving in September '12. Got it in Cherry finish to go with the crib that we also ordered from Walmart (Baby Mod Cadence 4-in-1). The color is beautiful. The assembly was pretty simple, took my husband 1.5 -2 hours. All the measurements were exactly as described on the site. I'm sure it will last us for quite a few years.

To start off the the drawers look normal size, but when opened, they are very shallow. The sides only go up half the width of the drawer leaving not much room. The directions were awful and took more then 2 hours to put together, but the worst part is the HORRIBLE smell!!!! I tried airing it out for three weeks with no luck and I am returning it tomorrow. The cheap paint smell is so bad I could not keep it in a baby's room!!!

The only reason I gave the dresser a 4 star is because the directions are pictures only which made it a little difficult at times to try to figure out which pieces we needed when. The product itself I think is great (we bought it for our nursery)! It is very solid and looks very nice. I ordered the espresso color and it matches my crib perfectly which is made by a different company. The drawers are a little shallow, but for a baby I think it will be perfect.

I bought this for My Daughter-In-Law, ( My First Grandchild) :) We assembled it together, was very simple but, we had to take our time, she was 8 1/2 mths preg and I have some arthritis in my hands. The directions were easy to follow and it turned out to be a beautiful piece !!! The drawers are nice and deep and glide in and out beautifully, the only problem we had was the screws for the knobs were incorrect or they drilled the holes too large, thankfully I had some that fit properly, other than that it is Perfect !!

I got this dresser as an early shower gift. Just put it together today. It took two of us about 2 or 2 1/2 hours. The dresser looks nice but is not great quality. It will be fine for a baby, for a few years, though... There are already a few nicks and scratches in the finish just from building it! Nothing major, but they're there! The only bad thing about the dresser is the knobs....the screws we were given seem to be the wrong size...they don't screw tight to make the knobs stay on. Possibly bigger screws would do the trick, but I actually think I'm going to go buy different knobs and put them on....just to give it a little extra pizzazz! All in all, for it's purpose as a baby's first dresser, this is a good dresser.

Went together just fine, but missing some screws that secures the back panel on. No big deal in our case, but still a bit bothersome. Some gapping in the drawer front when closed, but that doesn't effect the look. You get what you pay for and this is for our little baby, so it's not an heirloom that will be passed down or anything.

Appears to be well made and sturdy however when assembled, gaps between drawers are uneven and top surface is all scratched up. Cannot place anything on it without seeing multiple scratches afterwords. It is all particle board on the outside which will not withstand much. Expected better quality from Storkcraft since their other furniture is much better made.

This piece and it's matching "Beatrice dresser and storage unit" were purchased for my newborn daughters room. We wanted to stick with Espresso because the other furniture we used was also espresso.
First Impressions:
The packaging it arrived in was slightly torn but it was a fairly heavy package so it was probably due to the long haul that it was slightly torn. (When I say slightly I literally mean slight rips in the box, nothing severe or danger of losing parts.)
The piece itself is securely packaged in styrofoam "to the 9's" it was a very safe secure piece.

I assembled these pieces over the coarse of two days mainly because I didn't start on them till roughly 9pm.
My wife couldn't assist so I was doing this solo, it was simple enough. We would recommend separating the pieces into individual groups to help speed the process along. (Also take note of the checklist they give you with the package to notate which pieces you do and don't have.) Fortunately all of the pieces were here for my furniture so it went rather smoothly.
There is no text only images (saves money & paper to translate into multi-verse languages) but the point was straight forward. Assuming you spent your time arranging your pieces it shouldn't take that long. (NOTE FOR DADS: Read each page carefully, I know like me 90% of you out there will be "I got this..." and not read the instructions to a full, but do!

The cherry color matched the cherry graco furniture that I already purchased. I was afraid that this wouldn't be the case. Overall, the dresser is sturdy and well made. I definitely think it is worth the money if you want a decent nursery dresser and don't want to spend a lot of cash.
