Laguna Night Stand, Lacquered Espresso

I love the look of this series, but the laminate coating on top of the plywood is easy to scratch off! Also, instructions for putting this together are not very helpful. No words, only pictures... had to do a lot of guessing. Definitely takes two people to put together.

I really love this product--made in Denmark so has great modern styling--much like IKEA products. Of course, just like IkEA the price is great but you have to work at it, putting it together. Assembly is simple but-time consuming. The only critique I have is I expected the nightstands to be a little higher, like say 4-6 inches. They are quite short, low to the ground, they don't reach to the top of my mattress. But they still look good. I might add some little legs at some point.

I bought this with the larger chest of drawers and the headboard. they are small, but match nicely with the platform bed for that kind of look

assembling took a little time but its a real cute one...its little short but looks very gd and cute and it looks more expensive than what we paid for ...

An excellent Night Stand! My wife and I bought the Laguna bed, 6-Drawer dresser, and are waiting on our second Night Stand for my side of the bed! Instructions were a little complicated at first, but once I got going I had it all down. I like the modern shape of the furniture and the color too! My only problem is ANY furniture we ordered came with dings and nicks on nearly all of the edges. We needed the furniture badly so we didn't bother with sending it back and getting a replacement...

The only thing I really didn't care for is the fact we had to put it together. Now that it is together it is very nice.

So I ordered this night stand for my little brother's first college apartment. I was pleasantly surprised by the look and quality of this product! I need to say that you can't however, that you need to expect that this will not be on par with something that you would purchase from a showroom furniture store. This furniture is particle board with a wood veneer cover. That said, for his first place I would still say that this piece is great! It will last several years with proper care, just not something you can pass down.

It is listed at being "espresso" brown finish but it is almost black, which for me was great. I purchased a black desk and black accessories and was worried that they would clash but they went perfectly! That should say something about how dark it is. Also, you need to set aside to assemble this. I think that it took us about 90 minutes to assemble. What is horrible about the packaging is that it comes with instructions but none of the parts are labeled! None! They give you stickers so that you can label them yourself. Do that first and you should be fine. We didn't have any problem with it.

Oh, and a few more things. This is a SMALL night stand in terms of height. It was level with his mattress set before we put them in the frame. So if you have "real" furniture and then you purchase this night stand you might think that it looks a little like a child's nightstand. The dimensions are also a little strange with concerns to the depth and width. The nightstand is fairly long with its depth and fairly short with the width. I would have liked to see that is was wider vs deeper so that it didn't stick out so far. But overall this was a great piece. I also purchased the 5 drawer dresser that was also great.

I purchased this on a Saturday and it was delivered to the store of my choosing by that Friday with the free Site-to-Store shipping, so cuddos to Walmart! There was no damage to the pieces in transit that couldn't be fixed with a simple touch up marker...GREAT!

This is a great product for the price. It looks good an is very functional piece. Putting the nightstand together took over an hour and the instructions are very difficult (no words, just images). It is best to lay all the parts out before beginning!

One of the pieces came damaged, but it was very easy to submit an online part replacement request and the third party customer service company (not WalMart) sent me the replacement piece within about a week. Assembly is easy even though there is glue involved. Great looking piece when everything is said and done.
