Hill Street Blues is as close as you will probably get to what the cops encounter and some of the problems they face in everyday life. It brought back memories that my family and I shared in the 80's. I like all the actors except Chief Furillo's ex-wife. She is totally annoying and out in left field.
She can say the stupidest words at the most oddest times. The sergeant at the beginning is the killer roll. Make sure you be careful out there. What a trademark line! He always talked as though, he was in a live play. Great actor. Lots of action and excitement and great price.
