The first movie is better than the second. The first is more about a boy's relationship to and interaction with animals. The second is more like Gilligan's Island with a dolphin to help.

I BOUGHT THIS MOVIE FOR MY 6 YR. OLD. SHE HAS WATCHED IT OVER AND OVER. ITS A GREAT MOVIE FOR KIDS AND I ENJOY IT TO. I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT LANGUAGE OR OTHER ISSUES I HAVE WITH SOME OF THE MOVIES OUT NOW.

The flipper series is a real "Must" for all families to view. Contains many real life situations & lessons to be learned---not to mention beautiful backdrops & a real knack for filming that although done back in the 60's, surpasses much that is produced today. A definite winner!!!
