Leatherman Core

just like the other leatherman products! Great tool for all, it is a little big and bulky, but is still one of the best tools they put out!

Not much to say, its a Leatherman. Blades are very sharp right out of the box and built very well. I keep one in my daypack when hunting and camping you could also keep one in your tool box or in your car, too many uses to list here.

This tool is not your cheap import item. It is built extremely well and a nice feel and comfortable finish to my hand. Although this particular model is a bit heavier than I thought it would be, I am impressed at the overall heftiness, durable construction, and extra long blades. The pliers are large enough for heavy jobs yet the precision is high enough for fine work. I bought it as an all purpose tool for the truck and it will meet that need perfectly. This model is a bit large/heavy for my small frame as a convenience tool but if I were working in the trades again it would be perfect. One small flaw I found was in the leather case that came with mine. The rivets on inside of the case caught the tool somewhat, preventing full insertion and the clasp from snaping. I fixed that by stretching the case a bit. I'm very happy and would buy a Leatherman again, Great gift I think if someone would have bought it for me.
