I would highly recommend this product it was safe and easy to use. I did not want a gas or electric saw and this is battery operated. The directions were easy to follow. I have already used my saw and it was worth the price. I would recommmend this for use for a beginner,experienced and the professional.

The tool is heavy but it works well. It does not come with saw oil. I wish the tool had a button to extend the lenght instead of having to add the additional pole. (For this reason is why the meets expectations is not a 5)

Battery need to charge 9 hours and only lasts 25 minutes TOPS. Good for trimming tree branches but pole bows if you press hard. Not good for thick parts of shrubbery (what I bought it for) -can do it but very difficult and the cut is rough and ragged looking. ok for price. not too impressed but beats manual limb removal.

This saw met my expectations and performed well, the only thing I would recommend is that Wal-Mart offer extra batteries and chain at point of sale. I plan to use the saw this fall to trim trees for my hunting stand locations.

It trims small branches up to 3" but you should have on your safety glasses due to shavings that fall when cutting. I trimmed several low hanging branches around the area and before I knew it I have a pile on the curb. It does a great job.

Exceeded my expectations for battery powered chain saw. I bought mine with one battery. The battery lasted about 1/2 hour of cutting, which is about how long I can hold the saw over my head...Perfect! I have mostly mature oak, cedar, sycamore, and hackberry. 3 to 4-inch oak branches took about 20-30 seconds to cut under weight of saw. Power was pretty good. I used gas chain saw (Stihl) to section branches on ground to save battery. Also great for reaching deep into cedars to prune lower branches off.

This product works great! I've got an old Craftsman pole pruner that runs on elbow grease and this battery-powered item is a great improvement. I filled my trash can long before I ran out of battery. I now have B&D's battery-powered string trimmer, hedge trimmer and pole pruner. The only possible draw back to B&D's approach is that I also now have three batteries (which may actually work out) as well as three chargers (which I doubt I will need, but who knows?).

This a great product. At first i wasn't sure if i had made a good purchase but as soon as i tried it i was very pleased. It actually cuts better than i expected. I would definately recommend this product. Well worth the money. The only thing that could make it better would be two batteries.

Product was received non-functional, battery would not charge after following instructions for charging. Tried charging again and still haven't been able to use product. Instructions are to find a B&D Repair Center before returning product.

Works perfectly for non-professional trimming around one's homestead. It cuts well and my concerns for battery life, for a saw that cuts as well as this one, were stifled on the first use. Although I have the quick charger and three other batteries I have yet to be required to change batteries per job. I definitely recommend this saw!

I opened this up and found it not only nice looking for an outdoor toll but the carry bag topped it off for easy and very nice looking storage. It took care of those pesky out of reach limbs I have been looking to trim for months. Cut them clean and easily. Buy one for this price!

RAN 5 HOURS PICK UP FULL OF WOOD TOOK OFF POLE CUT STUMPS SHARPENED ONCE FOR DAY TWO SWIPES PER TOOTH. CORD IS A PAIN BUT CUT ALL DAY.
