Review 1 for Plano Protector Pro-Max Pillared Gun Case
Great for the price

It is easily big enough, make sure it will fit in your vehicle. With 2 rifles in it it is somewhat heavy, but that is to be expected. It is constucted well, but I don't intend to fly with it. I used it for storage with 4 padlocks b4 I bought my safe. I still use it to get to and from the range. For the price it is well worth it, compare for yourselves.

This is a solid case with plenty of room for two scoped rifled, offered plenty of protection for two firearms on a flight home.

Because fo the price i was hesitant, but after recieving...no more. I was looking for a hard case that would hold two heavy bbl, long range rifles (26" bbls) with 56mm obj lens scopes. Also i needed to be able to hold 28"bbl shotguns. Nothing else on the market even attempted to hold this. I recieved the cases (bought three) and was super pleased with the size and construction. They hold long arms tightly with the foam and straps and close securely. I havent flown with them, so can't speak to any TSA concerns. My only complaint is that the rails for the straps are not preinstalled. It comes with four rails (although you'll probabbly only use teh outer two) and four straps. The rails should have been preinstalled, but even that only took 10minutes after i used my own tools not the garbage tool provided. Another positive is that because of the squareness and overall dimensions of the case, you can put a Fender, Gibson, or similar sticker on and most will think it's a guitar.

My wife calls it the nuke launch case it's the size of a desk. I like it the molding is good the case came with one of the latches not lined up so I have to work it back into place all and all it is what I wanted it is not FAA certified since they do not lock on the sides you can reach in and grab a gun out if you tried to. I like Plano Products and anything to buy American I will Made in USA

Review 7 for Plano Protector Pro-Max Pillared Gun Case
Very nice case for the price

All in all this is a nice rifle case for the amount of money it costs. The case is a sturdy plastic shell with a heavy handle. The straps inside keep the rifles from sliding around. I would have liked to see foam that was pre cut so I could place magazines wherever I like but that wasn't a big deal. My only reservation was that the hinges on the case don't seem very strong.
Considering that this case only costed $50, and not $200 or $300 (for a Pelican case), I am pleased. It may not be waterproof or as tough but it does a nice job of protecting the rifles from normal damage.

Review 8 for Plano Protector Pro-Max Pillared Gun Case
Excellent case wth a couple of caveats

Solid, sturdy case. Great buy for the money. I have no doubt the case and my rifle would survive air travel. Now for the caveats:
1) Case and two rifles is rather heavy. Not much of a problem for me but should be noted 2) Case will not fit in the trunk of my car. The same car I use to drive on hunting trips. The case will fit in the back seat so I will need to keep it covered.
These are just a couple items I would not have thought to consider prior to purchase.

Holds both my rifles with scopes securely in the case. Setting up the tie down straps is a little painful but well worth the effort. Feel very comfortable tossing the case into my truck and heading off hunting or to the range knowing the rifles are safe and protected.

I have looked for a long time for a case capable of fitting two large size rifles with scopes and this case by a long shot exceeded my expectations. For the price and quality of this case, you will not find anything remotely near this case. I ordered two more :) that's how good it is.....

This is a sturdy case than can easily hold two rifles or shotguns with room for some accessories. Even if you have scopes mounted.
Its lockable to keep kids out.

The case is very well thought out and well executed. It is also quite large. I needed the extra size to carry a sharps quigley 34" barrel, and a savage 10 ml II.

This gun case really surprised me because of its quality. I expected to get a $50.00 gun case and this was far beyond my expectations. Not only is it really big enough for two scoped rifles but it also has hold down straps that really work(for both guns). This case could be priced much higher and it still would be a bargain !!!!

Review 20 for Plano Protector Pro-Max Pillared Gun Case
good product,right size, and price

I needed 52 inches, and very few products had that. This case has the dimensions, has a separate tie inside the case (nice) and fits 2 rifles with scopes easily. It appears sturdy, a bit heavy ( comes with sturdy) . My only recommendation would have been wheels on one end to pull it with, then it would have been a 5 star. Currently I plan to strap on a roller, and that works.
