Black & Decker Quick 'N Easy 8-Cup Food Processor

I liked this product eventho it's not clear on how to put together. You definitely gotta know what you're doing. It chops, slices, grates great and fast. I bought it to prepare for thanksgiving because I read the other reviews and it did just what they said. It helped tremendously!

MY WIFE WANTED TO BUY THIS FOR OUR 6 YEAR OLD, AUTISTIC DAUGHTER ,WHO CAN NOT CHEW. THE PRODUCT SUPERCEEDS OUR EXPECTATIONS! OUR DAUGHTER IS NOW ABLE TO EXPERIENCE ALL SORTS OF NEW TASTES AND MORE NUTRITION!(SHE WAS ON GERBER 3, AND THE SELECTION IS LIMITED BECAUSE KIDS ARE NOT SUPPOSSED TO ON IT LONG). THE PRICE FOR THE QUALITY IS UNMATCHED AND PROBALY THE REASON THEY WERE BACKORDERED.BLACK AND DECKER QUALITY AT GENERIC PRICES. THE ADVANTAGES FOR OUR CHILD WOULD TAKE PAGES .THANK YOU,

I received this food processor for Christmas 07 from my husband. Assembly of the product was a bit more difficult than previous processors I have owned. I do not like the high/low/pulse buttons. I prefer the settings dial and one button. But the worst of the product was, it took me 10 mins to figure out why it wouldn't start. I realized finally that I had to strong arm the canister to click into the base of the machine. When I turned it on it was not only loud, but vibrated a great deal more than it should...like it was off balanced. It did a very poor job of pureeing the cooked veggies for a soup base, and when I tried the slicer (after some effort of switching nearly all the movable parts) and shooter it compiled the disappointment that much more. Only a few shreds of cabbage made it into the bowl, the rest (much of which was large chunks) went down into the processor cup.
I do not recommend this product.

I bought this food processor initially for my mother...I decided to take it because I was moving into a new house and she wouldn't use it anyway..the product doesn't even come with instructions or easy how-to steps...and when I went to try it out..it doesn't even turn on. I tried a million different outlets..nothing. Don't buy! Spend your money on a better product!!!

I am very pleased with the performance and the price of this product. I have used it making salads and processing meat products. Clean-up is quick and easy.

I do not have to buy thing cut up for me anymore. I have pain all the time and can not cut food up. This works great for me.

Considering its price and what I intentionally purchase this product for, it did the job exceptionally. It was able to process the tubers that eventualy produced over a 130 pasteles. FYI tubers are in the potatoe/yams family and pasteles(from Puerto Rico) are equivalent to tamales in size though differ in taste. What was amazing about this machine was that the motor was able to withstand such a beating. I'm really impressed, it's a keeper.

The food processor was EXCELLENT and I got it at an outstanding price from Walmart. They shipped it right away and I'm very happy with my purchase. Couldn't get any better!!!!!

This thing has a bizzillion pieces and one isn't even mentioned in the manual. I didn't even try it. Unpacking it was enough to let me know I'd never use it more than once. Too much work for smaller jobs.
