If you only have a couple of rifles it's fine. Didn't expect much for the price. Top shelf is almost useless. It's way too narrow. Bolt it down or it can be carried off easily by two people.

Basic gun cabinet with decent locking system. I have a rifle and shotgun in it with no issue and looks like I could add more weapons without and issue. Nice that it had individual gun slots to hold and keep the guns separate. Shelf is basic and not too large, but it does hold several boxes of ammo without a problem. For the $$ it is a good buy.

Picked up in store. In very good conditions. Not as safe as a real safety cabinet, but still quite heavy duty and difficult to transport if you are not organized. Does what it says it does and can be fixed to the wall. The interior is neat. Disappointed with the upper shelf. The separator does not cover the whole surface leaving a couple of inches of empty space in the back: not really usefull to store anything loose there.
Overal satisfied to have my guns locked away in a safe space and away from undesired hands !

Shelf needs to be larger but this looks like a simple do it yourself fix. I only have three guns and would find more to be crowded. Tactical guns with scopes fit without a problem.

This safe is perfect for those who need secure stowage for few guns. Best part is for very little money you get an actual SAFE...not a "security locker". After mounting in closet....no-one's walking off with this (or the valuables we secure) without some serious effort and time. High fire rating, hinges inside, plenty of room for rifle/shotgun, ammo, and with a little crafting, shelves for pistol storage.

Much better than those security cabinets, Good sturdy material , good locking mechanism, and decent wall mounting equipment. 5 five guns might be a tight fit, but three is perfect. enough room for ammo and a couple handguns. Cant store rifles with 30 round clip attached( door wont shut.) Well worth it a great budget SAFE.

More a reinforced cabinet than a safe. Does the job, though. It is a tight fit for 5 guns, especially if they have bolt actions. The only modification that I can recommend is that the manufacturer redesign the barrel rests to allow the second and fourth guns to be reversed. This would allow the fit to be a bit less tight especially for bolt actions or M1/M1A type operating rods. All in all this is a good, low cost solution for gun storage and safety. Will deter the kids and any one more determined will need to expend a good amount of energy to take the guns. Bolt it to a concrete floor and they'd have to rip the bottom out to take the cabinet.

This unit may not be as strong as a bank vault, but it seems much more secure than the lower priced cabinets. The body is all welded steel, the door and frame are strongly reinforced. This unit is NOT fire or flood proof, but it WILL keep unauthorized folks away from your rifles. Mine was shipped to my home and arrived early, complete, and in good shape (a small scuff in the paint). I agree that it would be tough to get 5 rifles in it, and I also replaced the shelf with a larger piece of plywood.

Not a gun "safe" but more of a gun cabinet. It's not fireproof but is more secure than leaving guns laying around. Probably the worst feature is it's kind of small but it will do what I wanted it for.

Came in a little dinged up on one corner but not to bad. Was a little disappointed with lock for some reason i thought it was a 3 point locking system the 2 bolts along with 2 vertical bolts along top and bottom but it was only 2 horizontal deadbolt .The inside was light carpet gray color it was fine but my biggest concern is the 5 barrel rests are to deep in the case for rifles with good size scopes because the scopes bang the back of case. I called the company and they do not offer a another version of the removeable rest so i cover my scopes with towels. overall good for the price.

I was looking for a small and relatively cheap safe for my lone rifle. Upon searching the gun shops and internet I was dismayed to learn that there weren't any choices for a single gun safe. Well, on a hunch I took a look at the Walmart website and found what I was looking for; A small, cheap safe that can secure my long gun with reasonable security. I ordered the product and was surprised with an added bonus: free shipping! Upon receiving the item (which was quite fast# I noticed that the packaging was pretty beat up with tears and excessive tape on the box. I also noticed that the safe was heavier than I expected. I removed the packing materials and was relieved to see that the safe itself was not structurally compromised #cracked, broken) with no scratches. It did however suffer a very small dent on the side and two corners on the top were slightly dinged. No matter, none of those would affect the integrity of the safe nor was it very noticeable. The mounting hardware that came with the safe was strangely mismatched with the holes that were pre drilled on the safe. The bolt heads were just too small and the drilled holes were too big. Instead I went to the hardware store and bought new mounting bolts for it. All in all I was quite happy with my purchase and best of all I now have some peace of mind knowing that my firearm is reasonably secured.

This is a good safe and it does what it is intended, which is to keep your shotguns away from children and intruders. You are able to bolt it to the ground or a stud (bolts included) to give it a little more security. The door is noisy when it is closed, there should have been some neoprene or rubber to reduce this at the rim of the door. There is only one keylock that is used to close the safe. It would be wise to buy the safe at the store and certify that it is 100% before taking it home. SentrySafe does not package well and a 1 inch thick sheet of styrofoam (top and bottom of a cardboard box) is what is protecting your safe during transport (REALLY!). Unfortunately I had to return my safe once because it was so scratched and dented I couldn't even open the door. The second time it still came dented and scratched but not as much and I just gave up and kept it. ( By the way it is really hard to repackage and move it around by youyrself ask someone to help you)...

This product is what I expected: a serviceable secure storage cabinet for my guns. It's not going to withstand a determined assault by thieves, but that's what homeowner's insurance is for.
The reason I rated it at only 3 stars is that the packaging in which the product is shipped provides insufficient protection for such a heavy object. The product arrived with a deep ding about the size of a quarter in the upper left front of the frame (beside the door). I've attached a photo. I had to install the cabinet immediately, as the worker who was re-doing my closet was only going to be available for a couple of more days, so I didn't return it. The defect is aesthetic and does not affect function, but that is no excuse for the sloppy packaging.

It is more solid cabinet than a safe. Ordered online and got this item with lots of small dents. Looks like it was dropped many times during the shipping. With details inspection I found rust inside.
