We purchased a Roady XT for use on an extended (4 week) road trip. We were generally satisfied with it. There were two or three instances where we were given directions, but we weren't satisfied with the route we were given. However, we were able to work with the Roady and arrive at our desired destination.

The unit is very portable. I had another product from a different manufaturer prior to this. It was not as portable as I like and the reception was --in my case--terrible. I needed a portable unit as I often have use of personal, work, and rental vehicles. I could never get good reception with the other. If you hooked it up according to the instructions, you couldn't easily carry it from one vehicle to another. So I hooked it up as well as I could and got better portablility but terrible reception. This Delphi unit solved these problems. Great portability, great reception and incidentally, a much better display and a few features unavailable on the other that I have found to be very convenient. Love it, love it, love it.

The Roady XT made by Delphi is a great bargain for an XM reciever. While shopping to replace a broken one (it was my fault it broke) Walmart.com had the Roady XT in stock and standard shipping was only .97! Setup was a breeze with the included car kit .The roady xt also has an FM transmitter for playing through your radio without wires. All in all the reception is good ,as long as there is nothing blocking the southern sky ,such as a tree or tall building. I am not sure ,but I think XM has replaced this model ,but they are still available at an incredable price from Wamart.com. My recommendation would be to purchase one of these units should you want to try XM or as a replacement for an older reciever,either way you can't go wrong.

Wow you can't beat Wal Mart on the price! It's cheaper than all of the others and there is no rebate to fuss with. This is my first XM Radio. The install was quick and easy, the sound quality is just okay even with the cassette adaptor. Highs can sound harsh and metallic but I'm not sure if that is the fault of the receiver or XM. The small size makes it easy to mount in the car. I just bought it and installed a couple of days ago. So far, so good.

I too love this XM Satellite receiver. However when I purchased it in store after viewing it online, I was under the impression that it comes with the remote control since it is written in the specifications section on the web site. The remote control is separate. Overall, great receiver.

This is my first experience with satellite radio. That being said, this is all I think I would want from a radio. The ordering and shipping process went smoothly, and the radio couldn't be easier to setup and install. I liked it so much I bought a second unit for my wifes car. I installed my unit in my work truck and have been enjoying it thoroughly. The built in FM transmitter makes it so easy to install and use, and it allows me to control all the sound quality through my existing sound system. Really cool!
