Had previously purchased for my first child and second child also needed one. one table does not fit two children to do arts and crafts, but separate tables affords enough space with storage drawer to accommodate the artist within....

Although the price of a kids table & 2 chair set was a little "pricey," overall, the quality and looks of this table is exceptional. It was not difficult at all to put together and can hold heavier set adults with no problem (trust me, it has). We love this table and glad that we choose this specific set.

Ordered this table in the expresso finish through the site to store shipping (a service that is awesome!). I put the table and chairs together myself (no husband needed to assemble). The directions were great. The chairs and table are sturdy. My kids are 2 and 4 and they will definitely have room to grow with this set!

We bought this for 4 year old - table and chair height were good for older todler, he will be able to use it for years. Quality of the wood was excellent. Pleased with the final product, but assembly takes time and some expertize, don't wait until christmas Eve.

This product was perfect for my 6 year old daughter who loves play house, do crafts, and school work. The table is taller and nicer than toddler tables and she will be able to use it for a while longer (Her 8 year old brother sits with her at the table and has room to grow). The drawer is a nice touch especially when she uses it as a desk. It was easy to put together and is sturdy.

Sturdy Set - but disappointed overall

I ordered the set which includes table and 2 chairs. I wanted 4 chairs but it was not available at Wal-mart. So I did what should be the likely solution - order 2 additional chairs. I was so pleased when we opened the set and assembled them. My 2 year old was so excited and ready to play. When we opened the box with the first additional chair - the stain did not match the table. The same thing happened with the next chair as well. The chairs matched each other but not the table. I ended up returning the additional chairs and re-ordered them. Again the chairs did not match the table. I have since returned the set and the additional chairs. After speaking with KidKraft they advised me there was no way to gaurantee the stains would match. I have a very sad 2 year old in my house and still no table and chairs.

We love this table and chair set. My husband (proud grandpa) assembled it with no problem, and my 5-year grand daughter loves sitting at it doing her homework, arts/craft, coloring, etc. She loves the drawer feature and calls it her secret drawer! The quality of wood and the color is perfect to blend in with the furniture in her bedroom. My only complaint is I am now ordering another table set for a different room and the set is $20 less!!! I love the ship to site feature and pick up is very easy.

I looked around a lot for a table and chairs set for my 16 month old and am very happy with my choice. This is a great set for the money. It is a little tall for him right now, but he is still able to climb onto the chairs himself. I know he'll use it for many years, as I can [ fairly:) ] comfortably sit at the table myself. It is also very sturdy. I don't feel like I'll break the chair. We were able to assemble it with no problems, just a couple screws per leg. We bought 2 extra chairs. It's a little tight to put two next to each other on each of the long sides (although they do fit), so we put one on each side.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The table and chairs are made of very heavy well constructed wood. My granddaughter can stand on the chair and it will not tip. The wood is beautiful and it will last a very long time. I can easily see this little set being put away years down the road and given to my granddaughters children. She loves the little drawer that pulls out to place her artwork, also well constructed. This set is a wonderful purchase. It arrived quickly.

This is a real wood table and chairs. I have a 8 year and a 4 year old boys and it is ideal for both. This could last till they get old. It may become a bit smaller but these days my wife started working on this table with her laptop wireless. You cannot go wrong.

I purchased this set for my homeschool classroom. I have a 5-year-old (the size of an 8-year-old) a 2-year-old (the size of a 4-year-old) boys, a 1-year-old daughter and they are rough. This set is durable enough to take whatever they have to dish and remains beautiful. They chose the honey finish and a couple of colored chairs, and love to have any activity while sitting at their table and I don't have to worry about them getting in each other's way. The table is plenty large enough for each child to have their own space during whatever school activity we are engaged in.
Caught the set on sale from Wal-Mart for $119 everywhere else wants at least $150 or more. It is very very sturdy, very well-constructed and took me very little time to put together.
I really can not say enough positive things about this set. It is so worth the money. You get a beautiful table and chairs, excellent Quality for Little Money.

Lightweight and nice color. Had some problems with assembly namely, the top of the table leg cracked during assembly. It does not affect function but affects the aesthetics. It is the right height for the recommended age. The kids like it. Will I buy it again? Probably not. For this amount of money, I can get something better that would not break and will be easy to return and get a replacement as this is not available in store.

Good product, solid construction, reasonable price. Makes for a good value, we are happy with this product. In fact, this is the second one we've purchased. The first for our first two boys and now a tandem setup for our next two kids. The original table is beatup, but staying strong. I would definitely recommend this table/chair setup.

The construction of this product was solid, all parts were present and I (290 lb, 6' man) can sit in one of the kiddie chairs. I'd recommend this highly. I was able to assemble it within 1 hour.

Got this for my 2 and 4 year olds to have their own computer desk. It's a very nice piece of furniture, easy to put together and nicely sized for kids. A little on the big side for little ones, but it works fine with plenty of room for them to grow into it.

My wife and I picked up the Avalon table and chair set at our local Walmart. This was a special order item and the process for buying this set was quite simple and easy to do. The website has quite a few choices that you won't find at your local store so this is a big plus.
Getting the item from the store to our car was easy, as two associates carted the very large box out to our SUV and loaded it for us. Once home, we busted down the box and took a quick inventory against all the parts. The instructions were clear and assembly was a snap. It was quite evident when we grasped the first piece of wood that this was a very solid product and not some cheap item that wouldn't stand up to use by our son.
Once everything was assembled, we set it out for our son to use and he took to it immediately. My wife was teaching him how to write letters and numbers and doing so while he was sitting on bar stools or in regular sized dining room chairs wasn't the best situation, but now with his perfectly sized chairs and table he loves doing his work.
This is an excellent product, while it is one of the most expensive sets Walmart sells, you are definitely getting your monies worth.
