This remote is an incredible value for the money. It works simply and was easy to set up. It feels good in your hand. Buttons are placed nicely and are easy to find - even on first time use. I probably should have given it 5 stars - especially for the $20 price tag. But there is one feature I wished it had. It would be absolutely perfect if it had some sort of "learn" mode for the TV functions. There is one - and only one - reason that I need to keep my TV's orginal remote around. That is, I need to use it to switch between HDMI (when playing XBOX) and Component inputs (when watching cable). I mention this ONLY because I realize it's probably an unusual expectation. If you don't need this feature - I'm guessing most won't - then buy this remote today. You won't find anything better! For $20, I probably shouldn't expect such an advanced feature. But it would make this remote absolutely perfect.

This remote does exactly what I need it to do. I don't need to burn up the batteries in my gamer remote to run the xbox, plus it runs my TV so one less remote to deal with. It's nice to have when you use the xbox for dvd playing and media center. Great product, good price.

Doesn't seem to work on Olevia TV's (checked all over the web and others have similar experiences). Other than that.. one great remote for the XBOX and for a Media Center Extender. Must have the remote and the XBOX visible with each other for it to work. Sensitive IR.

Works great for dvd's or Netflix and using media center. As for controlling the tv or other products that is another thing. If you have anything other than a tv then you have a problem as it will not work with amps so you will still have to keep that surround sound remote. It does however beat turning on your controller everytime you want to pause the movie your watching.

This is a great product! My boyfriend had been looking for one for months and they never had it in-store. I ordered it online, got it well before the expected delivery date, and he was thrilled. Obviously not used for playing games, we watch movies on Netflix on our Xbox so often that this was really a great accessory to have. It even has a button that takes you straight to your media center, which was great for me. We paired it with our TV and it works great. The buttons light up only when you push one so it's never distracting and glowing in the dark. He looks like a kid again, showing off his "fancy and sleek" Xbox remote to all of his friends. Definitely a recommended gift!

My only issue with this remote is that when I use it for windows media center on my xbox 360 it also mirrors the commands into my conputer that I am working off of. This is kind of annoying, but not enough to stop using the remote. I just make sure that my computer isn't open to something where the remote commands will cause problems.

The only problem I have had with this remote is that it won't turn on my tv, but it will turn it off, change channels, adjust volume, etc. I don't get it. But the remote is great otherwise. Cheap, effective, and of high quality manufacturing.

While it does work with most TVs basically, this isn't a TRUE universal MEDIA remote! Product only works with generic TV codes and the Xbox 360. NO CABLE, STEREO, etc options for controls with limited TV control. MY SA8100 cable box remote can do more!

This is a great conrtoller but if you are going to use this mostly for you T.V. then it might not be the best. The buttons are really small (for the channels) and the rest of the buttons(the play, stop, OK, ect...) are fairly large. It lights up so you can see what you pushing. The paint on the buttons will eventually ware down after about 1-2 months but nothing too bad. Using this for a DVD remote it is great. All around it is a great controller.

Bottom line is, if you have an xbox 360 then you should have this remote. It works GREAT! I use it for my tv and for my xbox and I LOVE IT! It's really cool because the buttons light up when you push one. Definite buy!
