Nolan and Bale did a great job rebooting this franchise. I was especially glad to see a second rate villain (Scarecrow) as one of the main characters.
The movie drags in spots and the film spends too much time on Bruce's martial arts training.
Overall, it's just as good and maybe even better than the original 1989 Batman movie.
