Breadman Chrome Ultimate Breadmaker, TR2500BC

I bought this breadmaker 1 month ago. It has gotten lots of use. I love this machine. It is so easy to use and the bread tastes great. I have not had any trouble with the pan popping out like some people have had. I would recommend it to anyone. My daughter's boyfriend has had many slices of bread and now he wants to buy his mother one.

I may never buy bread again!

The instructions are so clear that my teens use this machine.

I've reduced my household expense for bread to less than a dollar a week. I can enjoy fresh baked piping hot bread whenever I want and at whatever time I choose. It is the perfect compliment to homemade jams and jellies. Sandwiches, Extra thick french toast, Plain old bread and butter whatever you like for less than a hundred bucks and it will pay for its self within six months. I would recommend one for every household in America.

Everything and more than we had hoped. We have made loaves of all kinds of special breads, pizza dough, etc. It does everything for you.

With the rising cost of bread, and many failed attempts of baking homemade bread, I finally invested in this breadmachine (which I swore I would never stoop to!). A couple things I found out quickly. It is serious when the directions say that you must follow them EXACTLY. I had a few failed loafs. The next thing I found out is when you make a 2lb loaf, it is near impossible to slice a piece with any conformitty. So, now after a half dozen loafs, I make only a 1lb loaf and follow the instructions exactly. It is fun to smell the fresh bread baking! I think the recipes included, are pretty slim picken, but there are many recipes online. The only other thing I find a problem is the mixing blade. On several loafs I can not get it to release the bread from the machine so I end up with a big hole in my bread. Oh well. At least I can make fresh bread now, with all of the wholesome ingredients that I want and no extra preservatives and things I can't pronounce!! I think I will keep it.

I woud highly recommend this product. We love to bake and there are so many options with this breadmaker. First of all it makes great bread whatever variety you want. We have made white and white/wheat bread. We have also made pizza and soft pretzel dough in this machine. We are looking forward to making some of the other recipies in the cookbook that comes with it. The machine looks and works great. I can not speak for the durablility that is why I only gave it 4 stars. This machine is easy to use. The cookbook tells you which ingredients to put in and in what order. So simple and satisfying!

I purchased this item today and made my first loaf of bread, it sounded really strong at first until the loaf pan popped off the side springs that hold it in place, so I paused the machine and pushed the pan down and yet again, then again, and then again. The pan kept popping off during the kneading process!!! What good is a timer if the pan pops off rendering the machine useless!!!!! I followed the instructions to the tee when adding all my ingredients so I really don't know why this would happen. After reading reviews from other consumers I found out that this is a very common problem with this machine. Well back to the store it goes not worth over the $100.00 I paid for it.

I agree with all the positive reviews, but I have had a negative experience with my recent (one-year old) Breadman Ultimate: when making bread from whole wheat or english muffin bread mixes, the dough is so tough (compared with most white bread mixes) that it causes the bread pan to jump off the spinner. The only way to avoid this is to manually hold the pan in place during the 20-minute knead cycle. Simply providing some form of fastener that would keep the pan in place would remedy this otherwise fantastic machine.

We had a previous one that died, just stopped working. However, for at least a couple of years it worked great. Lots of setting options, some good recipes in the accompaning recipe book - great cinnamon bread recipe. Baked thoroughly, but not too much. Tried another brand when our old one broke; cooked too much, burnt the outside even on lowest setting. Bought this one again, and all is well in our house again. Highly recommend, good price for what you get. Will warn you, bought on Amazon twice, and both came broken, the inside bulb(that you can't get at to fix) was loose in one, and broken in another. But ordered at Wallmart, picked up at local store, and been baking ever since.
