An excellent product; makes real loaves of very good bread. At first the settings seemed complicated, but then I left the defaults do the job perfectly.

It does beep very long and loud whenever you plug it in, or when the power goes out/comes back on or when programming it!! Kind of annoying. The kneading cycle is not as loud as my old machine, though.
The machine itself seems a little "flimsy" compared to my old bread machine, but that could just be the way they're made now.
Great bread. The several loaves I've made so far have been great, so I have no complaints. And, this looks great on my counter!

I've used the bread machine 4 times & have had excellent reviews. Everyone just loves the bread & I've had no problems with it at all. I'd recommend it to anyone that loves bread the way we do. It looks good enough to keep on my cabinet. EASY to clean up. If I wear it out like I did the last one, I'll buy another one.

This bread machine has gotten some bad reviews for various reasons, but I find it delightful. Although I've not had it long enough to try all the recipes, the few "experimental" loaves have been flawless and delicious. My only problem is that the various features are not very intuitive and I'm lazy about reading directions. READ THE MANUAL. It's all there for you in the manual and reading it beforehand will save time and frustration. :-)
I can't comment on the durability because I've had it for such a short time. As it will get heavy use, I will soon know if it is tough enough to take it.
Tip: forget the plastic cup and measuring spoon that come with the machine. If you have favorite tools, use them. I didn't care for the cup and the little measuring spoon is hard to clean.

I bought this breadmaker 1 month ago. It has gotten lots of use. I love this machine. It is so easy to use and the bread tastes great. I have not had any trouble with the pan popping out like some people have had. I would recommend it to anyone. My daughter's boyfriend has had many slices of bread and now he wants to buy his mother one.

It is wonderful, I bought it for my daughter and made lots of points with the grandchildren. She made at least one batch of bread or rolls a day, and some days 3 different kinds. We all enjoyed the fresh baking. I would recommend it to any who likes home made bread.

This is my first bread maker and it was easy, educating and makes great bread! I love everything about it! It looks good, it's quiet and The Breadman gives you many options to choose from. The recipes are great and true and fun to use. I was a professional baker and I have to take it easy on my hands, so I decided to try a bread maker and I am so pleased of my choice! I recommend The Breadman Ultimate for it's quality, it's price, it's ease of use and the great bread it makes!

I've reduced my household expense for bread to less than a dollar a week. I can enjoy fresh baked piping hot bread whenever I want and at whatever time I choose. It is the perfect compliment to homemade jams and jellies. Sandwiches, Extra thick french toast, Plain old bread and butter whatever you like for less than a hundred bucks and it will pay for its self within six months. I would recommend one for every household in America.

This bread maker is awesome! It is so simple to use. I am a 22 year old male college student... If I can do it anyone can do it, and it makes unbelievable bread. My first loaf was a cinnamon raisin bread and I made a homemade white icing to drizzle on top all from the recipes that are in the book that come with the bread maker. It was unbelievable. The sweet corn bread is the best I have ever had and that's saying something since I'm from the south. I read numerous reviews that said the bread-pan pops out during kneading. I haven't had that problem at all. Not sure if they fixed it or what but well worth the money!

Fresh bread for half price

With the rising cost of bread, and many failed attempts of baking homemade bread, I finally invested in this breadmachine (which I swore I would never stoop to!). A couple things I found out quickly. It is serious when the directions say that you must follow them EXACTLY. I had a few failed loafs. The next thing I found out is when you make a 2lb loaf, it is near impossible to slice a piece with any conformitty. So, now after a half dozen loafs, I make only a 1lb loaf and follow the instructions exactly. It is fun to smell the fresh bread baking! I think the recipes included, are pretty slim picken, but there are many recipes online. The only other thing I find a problem is the mixing blade. On several loafs I can not get it to release the bread from the machine so I end up with a big hole in my bread. Oh well. At least I can make fresh bread now, with all of the wholesome ingredients that I want and no extra preservatives and things I can't pronounce!! I think I will keep it.

I woud highly recommend this product. We love to bake and there are so many options with this breadmaker. First of all it makes great bread whatever variety you want. We have made white and white/wheat bread. We have also made pizza and soft pretzel dough in this machine. We are looking forward to making some of the other recipies in the cookbook that comes with it. The machine looks and works great. I can not speak for the durablility that is why I only gave it 4 stars. This machine is easy to use. The cookbook tells you which ingredients to put in and in what order. So simple and satisfying!

BREAD PAN POPS OFF!!!!!!!

I purchased this item today and made my first loaf of bread, it sounded really strong at first until the loaf pan popped off the side springs that hold it in place, so I paused the machine and pushed the pan down and yet again, then again, and then again. The pan kept popping off during the kneading process!!! What good is a timer if the pan pops off rendering the machine useless!!!!! I followed the instructions to the tee when adding all my ingredients so I really don't know why this would happen. After reading reviews from other consumers I found out that this is a very common problem with this machine. Well back to the store it goes not worth over the $100.00 I paid for it.

Having had a Breadmann 2200 for 6-7years and having had wonderful bread from it with no problems, we decided to upgrade and invest in a newer model as the old one was beginning to sound worn out and the loaf pan kept jumping off the spring clips after supplying us with approximately 500+ loaves, so we bought this model. Unforetunately this particular one was D.O.A. and failed to produce. All the mechanicals worked and the display, but it failed to bake which is a major part of the product. So, surfice it to say, it will be returned, but I will get another one as our previous one worked extremely well and I had no complaints.
