Although this product is designed as a hair removal system, that is not why I purchased it. Previously, I bought a battery operated callus remover that broke after about one year. I wanted to find a more substantial unit that was electric. I began a l-o-n-g search on the internet for a product that would remove calluses from my heels. Eventually, I found a bulletin board of consumers and discovered this product would work for my needs. It does not remove the hair well, but it is absolutely fabulous for removing calluses on heels!
