Ionic Pro Combo Air Purifier Plus Bonus Car Air Purifier

This item purifies the air well, however, by the 4th day, the smell of ozone was now permeating my 10x10 office. When I turn my small desk fan on, it clears the ozone odor up, but the metallic taste remains in my mouth.

It *is* effective, at least based on what I could see attached to the collection blades; I also was not getting the irritating tickle I usually get at the back at my throat signaling the presence of airborne irritants.

The unit's about 18" tall but the footprint is relatively small. Combined with the quietness of the unit, it fits well on a desk, which is where I keep mine. It is silent: if you don't put your ear directly against the device, you cannot hear it.

I purchased this item because my wife recently had a double lung transplant, her pulmonologist had a larger, similar model in his office, and I could definitely detect the smell of mold in our home.

If you can tolerate the smell of ozone (my sense of smell can be very keen), or perhaps have a slightly larger room, or you keep a fan running in the room, then the advantages of not having to replace filters and the absolute quiet make this air purifier a good choice. If you cannot tolerate ozone very well, $99 may be a little high to justify trading one irritation for another.

I love this product so far. It took a couple hours to clean the air in my living room.Silent!! The smell of dogs was very overpowering reguardless the effort to steam clean the furniture. And my car is fresh now too.

We use this in our baby's room. because she was always getting stufft up & wakeing up alot. After useing the air purifier she sleeps very well. You can tell the diffrence from that room to others in the house.

Was a fairly inexpensive purchase and it definitely cleans up the air, but I was expecting it to go through a higher volume of air. Still I clean it every 2-3 and it does get a fair amount of crude.

I have 5 dogs in our home--with the purifiers there is NO ODOR!! Great product!!

I HAVE HAD THIS PRODUCT TWO YEARS, THE RED LIGHT COME ON.. AND I CAN NOT GET IT OFF. THE UNIT IS NOT WORKING. BUT IT DID WORK WELL WHILE IT LASTED

This product really does clean the air and leaves a clean and crisp smell in the air. Breathing is easier and not as "stuffy". Cleaning the product is easy. I also have the "turbo"model which works better in a larger area. Both have substantially helped with my asthma and breathing difficulties.

I like mine, it's great for tiny rooms. I can watch dust go right through without being caught but eventually it comes back to the machine and gets pulled in. A lot of dust gets stuck all over the grills (even in low dust rooms) and I need to clean it with a duster. If I had to buy it again I would not pay the $90 for it it costs. I've gone back to buying filters for my other machine and use a combonation of this and the regular filter. I've seen other products that incorporate a HEPA filter & the IONIC part which looks better than this product. I give this a 3 star. At first I liked the ionized air smell but it gets weird after a little while. Also the little blue LED light is too bright at night and I need to cover it up with tape or be blineded by it. Anyway I give this product only a 2 star on price as it is seriously over priced. I'm not saying it's a bad product. I do like mine and think its OK but it is seriously over priced, specially when you can watch dust go in one side and out the other.

You are never really sure if a product does what the ad claims it will do - this one does....it really makes a difference in the room.
