My only con to this car seat is, it is bulky. I like that in a car seat, but when you have a Mustang and twins, it is a little cramped, when it is in the rear facing position. Other than that, I love the seats, the boys love the seats (the test was a 16 hour car trip!). I hope this helps all of you momma's!
Overall, I would buy this car seat again in a second!

I have two boys, 2.5 and 1 years old. When they were smaller, I used infant car seats but they grew so fast that I had to get new ones. My friends ALL recommended this car seat, so I bought one when my oldest was about 7 months old.
It was not that hard to set up. It is kind of bulky, when installed rear facing but fits just fine into my VW Jetta while forward facing.
Once installed, it is very snug and secure and does not move a lot. Also, the buckles and straps can be adjusted easily. My sons love them and sit in it very comfortably.
The ONLY thing I don't love about this car seat: if you take off the pads and covers to wash it, it's a little hard to figur out how to re-assemble everything back together. But if I can do it, everyone can.
I am about to get a second car seat for my 1 year old and there is no question that I will buy this car seat again!

This carseat is easy to install and it's features are great. The only problem I have with it is that the head rest is large. When my child falls asleep, his head always flops forward, which looks very uncomfortable. Also with families that have standard size cars, you cannot use the base otherwise the carseat will not fit into the car. Other then that the carseat has met our expectations. And I would recommend it to others.

Good product. Good quality. Easy to install. You do get your money's worth although...there are some car seats out there that are better than this one. Like the Britex (or is it Britax?). Anyway, I almost purchsed a Britax car seat but it's worth almost $400. That's why in this one I say you get your money's worth. My husband found it too complicated. It is complicated, but only in the beginning. Once you get "the hang of it" there's nothing to it. It is not as sturdy as I'd like it to be though. It doesn't really fall into place. Like you hold it and try to wobble it and it wobbles. Like the base is not sturdy enough. But overall, good purchase. Oh and by the way, my son is 2 years old, and his head DOES fall forward when he falls asleep in the car.

Honestly I didn't buy this item at Wal-Mart, but it's the exact same one. I worked with it for 10 minutes and I knew most everything about it. It's so easy to take apart and put together, and my son seems to like it much better than his old one. My husband installed it in the car and it was a breeze. He is a 9 month 25lb baby and he won't be out growing it any time soon! It's a great car seat!

We purchased this seat for our 1 year old boy, who hates to ride in a carseat. One of the first things I noticed once I installed it via the lap belt (it still requires you to bend your arms at odd angles to get it in one side and out the other) was how easy it was to angle the seat backwards when you expect your young one to take a nap. To do this, you simply pulled a small lever on the front and rocked the unit back or front to adjust the tilt. The harnasses are easy to use and appear fairly comfortable to my son. My only complaint is that the snack tray connects to the bottom of the seat rather than to the arm rest. For a very young child, this means they won't be able to reach it for some time until their arms get a bit longer. Altogether though, I really like this seat.

This overall is a good product and I would buy it again. I experienced a few issues associated with this product that I will mention now. purchase- was easy, walmart.com pretty easy to manipulate product arrival- box was opened and part of product was missing (not sure the fault) product set up- very confusing. this product comes with a bundle of straps and methods for putting the thing in a car. The instructions are very poor which made it frusterating to put in the car. total time it took me to figure out what went where and how to get it into my car was over 2 hrs. It is rather large and bulky and does not fit well in a normal car. I bought this to fit in my Cadillac Escalade and it does fit perfectly front and rear facing. if you have a large suv or van this will work nicely but a small car will take creativity to fit especially rear facing.
The overall chair is very nice, very comfortable for my baby and he seems to like sitting taller than the baby carrier would allow. I would buy this product again and I would recommend it to others as long as you don't try to jam it in the car in 5 min on your way out of town like I had to do.

This is a very nice carseat. My 7 1/2 month old son seems to be very comfortable in this seat. It is rear and front facing, so we will be able to use it as my son continues to grow. We are new parents and I have to admit, there was some confusion on how to install everything properly. Other than that, I highly recommend this carseat.

I bought the seat then had to return it because it did not fit in my car. It was very hard to get a correct install. Once I set my son in the seat in the house to get the straps adjusted I found out that my almost 1 year old will be out growing the seat soon. (Within about 1-2 years) For around teh same price I found another seat that fits my car and he will be able to fit in for much longer. Sense he will be Extended Rear Facing this would not be a good seat to have him in. I had high hopes, but learned my lesson.

I researched this product before purchasing. I am happy with it, but it was hard to install. I have a mid size SUV and we had to take the base off in order to fit it in my car. Also, the recline feature isn't an option when in the rear facing position. It will be alot easier to use and we will be able to use all of the features once it is forward facing. It is very comfortable for my son and well made.

I first purchased this car seat in 2005 for my vehicle. We like it so much that we bought another for my husband's, our son loves his car seat and looks forward to riding in the car because of it. We actually bought two of these car seats while I was pregnant with my second son. One for the new born and one for my 2 1/2 year old (at the time) we have now had it about a year and I still love it for both of them. Is is a car seat that will last them until booster seats and it is very durable and easy to situate the kids in. I love the adjustable headrest and the cupholder is a hit with the boys. Very happy with this seat

I did a lot of research regarding child safety seats. This seat has certainly lived up to all the "reports/rating" It is easy to set up, install in your vehicle, and adjust to your child. The best feature is that my child is actually comfortable in it, and when he falls asleep doesn't do the classic "head bob" . I HIGHLY recommend this seat. Take it from a mom who drove her husband crazy looking for just the right one.

I did a lot of reasearch before purchasing this car seat. It ranked high in several seperate sites that tested car seats. It means the world to me to know that my son is as safe and comfortable as can be in his car seat. This will last him until he is 100 pounds. He is one now and weighs 20 pounds so that will be a while. That is really pennies a day and so worth his safety. Read the instructions and install it properly and read to understand the features. Safety first first! My sweet son looks so safe and comfy in his seat.
