I love movies from the 50's. If you like a classy movie with lots of laughs and music of course! lol its a musical but not as much as some. Doris Day plays hillbilly Calamity Jane very well with Howard Keel as Wild Bill. Good movie would recommend everyone to watch.

Doris Day is hysterical in this film. You love her from the start. Great movie! Doris Day and Howard Keel have great chemistry and delightful voices to listen to. I recommend this feel good film.

I grew up listening to the soundtrack of this movie. I always made sure I could watch it on TV when it was scheduled to be on. This is a great love story and it also contains a good portion of comedy.
