Very easy to put together. I am a 32 yr old mom, took me 1 hour by myself, easy directions. Looks wonderful, very cool. I absolutely love the paint finish, looks a lot more expensive than it is. The drawers fit a lot of toys. They also have the option of being locked so children cannot open if you do not want them too. I use mine for toys and they have a drawer stop so they will not pull all the way out on a child. Perfect, and exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy

Got this bed with the headboard for our 3 1/2 year old son. He just loves his big boy bed, and tells EVERYone about it. It's really not that hard to put together and seems pretty solid for the furniture in a box type. Used the site to store shipping and got it pretty quick and with no damage to anything. Overall very satisfied customer!

Great product. ONly suggestions are to glue knobs for drawers and to nail down the flat plywood pieces (2 total) that are directly under the mattress for more stability. THis is not required but it is, I believe, a valauable suggestion per my experience, especially if you buy this for a boy :)

The bed and headboard were easy to assemble and the blue color is very nice, but some of the pieces were damaged and the draw pulls need a bit better design. Overall the piece is nice and my son really likes it. Great for the money.
Pros: no smells, all wood items were marked and there were some extra pieces Con: even with the tough packaging two items were damaged and the draw pulls should have been solid as they tend to pull off the screw when you pull them. Needed to make a modification.

This turned out to be a great bed. Pretty easy to put together and my son LOVES it. He has a surfer room and the bed totally blends with all the lime greens, aqua & navy blues he has. I looked at Target first. Nothing quite compared plus Walmart has much better customer service.

My 6 yr old grandson was very surprise to receive his Mates Twin Bed box set up in his room when he came in to visit at his dad's. I also got him the headboard bookcase which he can now have his bedtime story books on hand and his nightlight. There's nothing most wonderful to see such excitement in a childs face. Thanks to Walmart that made this possible ordered from San Antonio online to Boston, Ma and delivered.

We bought this with the matching headboard. The bed has storage drawers in it and the Headboard has lots of shelves in it so our 10 year old son has plenty of storage and can keep all his electronic devices close at hand. The products are easy to put together,very durable and look great.

Overall, a very nice bed box, love the color. Bought for 15 year old son, and will probably be handed down to 4 year old son too. Took alittle while to put together, instructions could have been alittle more clear, and the drawers are alittle tight fit to begin with. there is also extra space under the bed behind the drawers to use as storage too. Hope to purchase the headboard in the future.

I purchased this bed in November of 2008 and was very pleased of how easy it was to put together, the way it looked and for the price. However, it didn't take long (7 months) for the drawers to fall apart! I have already repaired 2 of the 3 drawers, but one I repaired so many times that nothing can help it. Be aware the drawers are made of pressboard, so if your child "pulls" too hard on the drawers or has too many clothes in his/her drawers they will fall apart. The bed/mattress is awesome, but the quality of the drawers are not. I am now in search of yet another bed for him and I will not put a cheap price in front of the quality. If you want a sturdy bed with good pull out drawers to last a long time. Do not buy this bed! I am only glad I didnt invest in the dresser or the night stand.

This bed was on roll back price of $139 and we received it in a timely manner with site to store shipping. Took about 2 hours to assemble w/2 people. Looks great! and seems pretty solid for a pressboard bed. Only issue was missing one of the finishing screws but we called customer service and they sent it to us right away. Fits our existing twin mattress perfectly! We also orderd the 6 drawer dresser which i love and the nite stand. 3 pieces for under $400. We got this for our 9 year old son and i think its a great value if you are someone who isnt hung up on having solid wood furniture.

This product is a great buy. However, I do wish the drawers were a little more sturdy and the drawer handles a little less easy to unscrew. Otherwise, the bed itself is beautiful and spacious. It makes a plain bedroom appear interesting. I would recommend this bed as a worthwile purchase to anyone bed shopping for their tween aged child.
