My daugher loves to ride in the child carrier and now she can come along with us on bike rides. Before the child carrier she was unable to keep up with us on her bike and this made her terribly sad, so this is great for her!

Me And My Wife Ordered this Online Had it Shipped Site to Store and Within a Week we went and Picked it up got it home and with a few simple tools i had it mounted on my wife's bicycle and it has come in handy when we wanna go for a bike ride I would Highly recommend this product

My son loves this bike seat! It's great for the money. Husband said the instructions and assembly ease was terrible though. Once he attached it to my bike, he said "it's not going anywhere", meaning, it'll stay on there through anything!

I waited for 2 weeks for the Site to Store service to arrive w/ my product. In this time I passed up the opportunity to buy a better seat for around the same price. When I got the seat about 85% assembled and attached to my bike, I found that the supplied mounting hardware wouldn't fit my mountain bike. Keeping in mind that I purchased both my bike and the infant bicycle seat at the same store. Anyways, I had to take it back and I have yet to get a new one.

For my purpose, this product is great! I installed it infront of my bike and it works. My two-year old son loves the almost daily biking around the neighborhood and it is a great bonding experience for us. My 4-year old nephew and 8-year old niece could also fit and this bike attracts them to come over on weekends - unbelievable. Cons: For rear position, the U-bracket may be too short if your bike seat is at the lowest position. But you could buy a longer bracket at a local hardware store, if you need to and I was able to use this same U-bracket when I installed another carrier (that also came with a short connector) for the rear of my bike. With two bike carriers, I could give my son and either my nephew or niece a ride a the same time. Both carriers were from the same manufacturer priced at $25 and $48.99 by Walmart - great value for my money. Thank you Walmart!

I read all of the reviews of this product before purchasing and I was pretty skeptical that this product would be safe enough for my 30 lb. 2 yr old or that it would fit my bike. Boy am I glad Walmart had it in stock! I have an older Trek mountain bike with a quick-release seat and installation wasn't a problem. The photo on the box is misleading regarding an extra piece available for quick-release seats. They don't even sell this piece & it's certainly not in the box. I'm pretty handy with directions, but these were pretty awful. Two people are really needed for installation to hold everything & tweak it so it fits around the seat & brakes. The grab bar is very close to the rider, but I'm a small female so the bar is actually farther away from my bottom than on the picture on the box. I was afraid my son's knees were going to be bumping me, but no issues at his current height/weight. On the plus side....this model fit my bike, it's sturdy & safe, and the price was right. I couldn't even tell my very active toddler was behind me (except when I was lugging the extra weight up a hill). I took my toe-clips off the pedals because I was afraid I might have an issue getting my feet out of the clips fast enough & didn't want to take any risks with my little one along for the ride. After purchasing this I checked out a carrier at a bike store. Theirs was $167 (completely out of my budget) and was very similar in every manner except that it had a permanently mounted basket rack that the carrier easily slipped on & off of. I won't be removing this model until my son outgrows it, but since I don't even notice it except on dismount, there's really no reason to want to remove it. I only wish I had bought this earlier. Love it!

depending on what you use this for it can be great or it can be junk! I simply need an easy way to get to beach without hassle of parking. My daughter will soon be 3 and loves the ride! It is a bit jammed and I had to make a few "tweaks" to make it right but its worth the money and effort for what i am using it for. Longer bolts were not needed but I did have to adjust location a bit. I have a HUGE beach comber seat on my bike and there is enough room. Both my daughter and I are very tall - and we fit altho nothing else will fit too and I make sure her feet are in the cubbies for feet while we are riding! She sometimes bangs her head into my back and last week fell asleep while in the seat but other than that it has been useful.

Not the easiest to assemble. Set aside a good hour to assemble this bad boy. Once it is on though it works great. The plastic sheets for protecting the child's legs never quite fit on right. We managed to get it to stay on the bike but we did not do it how the directions showed to do it.

I love my bike seat. it is the best $25 i have spent. my son love ridding in it and it has allowed for me and both my boys to go on rides together and more time together. however the only downside is the guard that goes between your childs feet and bike is a pain to get on and it rubs on your feet wich is really annoying.

I have an 11 month old, and was looking for a child carrier for her, so the older kids and I could go biking together. Prices were around $60- $100+. I wouldn't say I'm dirt poor, but I think those prices are ridiculous (for bike rides around the neighborhood). Love it, love it, love it! And, my baby is excited every time I go to put her in, and screams at me every time I go to take her out. This product is very durable. It is great! If I had a complaint it's not the product's fault. My baby's head sits lower, because she is a baby, and the back of the seat pushes her helmet over her eyes. So, as I stop and wait for my other kids to catch up I turn and adjust her helmet for the next block or two. P.S. With 'Site to Store' shipping who can refuse? And a reliable brand too.

The carrier is a good value for the money but the instuctions need to be clearer. You need to extend the bar that attaches to the seat fully so that it is straight out from the seat before final tightening of all bolts. If not, it sits too close to the bike's seat. Also, the foot guard leaves a lot to be desired. Be careful with the tie downs. They break easily.

Seat is study, but it sits really close to the bike riders seat. Feels like you are sitting on the child. Would definitely hold up, but uncomfortable to have child in it riding behind you. Will be looking for a different seat.

This bike seat cannot be installed on bicycles with quick-release seats. Bell does not make or sell the part to make it installable on these kinds of bikes. The photo on the box is misleading. On the positive side, I felt the instructions were clear for installation.
