Purchased this after a 1-year old Emerson bit the dust. Since the warranty means mailing the old unit in, it just doesn't make $ sense to invest more than the minimum. Which brings me to the 1-month old Sharp. A small, cheap microwave. Problem Areas: 1. Light does not come on unless the unit is cooking. 2. Carousel is difficult to align and works erratically. 3. Start button difficult to find. 4. LCD (not LED) display difficult to see. 5. Unit is very light and slides all over creation when utilizing the touch pad which takes an unusual amount of force to register on the touchpad. So...invest a few more bucks for a bigger, more user friendly microwave.

I purchased this microwave to replace my old 1200 watt Sharp Carousel. I owned that one for 12 or so years and it finally gave out. This one is only 800 watts but is perfect since I no longer need or want the larger one. This one fits perfectly on my kitchen stand and works great. The only drawback I see is that there is no backlight for the clock/timer, but that is just a minor inconvenience.

When you go to pick it up, you need to make sure you tell the customer service person all the pick up names. The microwave was easy to learn how to use. It heats well. Easy to set up. Small enough for all types of spaces. Great gift for my daughter. It was great that I could order it and have it shipped to the Walmart in the town that she lives in. I didn't have to pay for shipping for the gift.

I have always had a Sharp microwave oven. I wanted a smaller one so I purchased this one. The first one was plugged in and I hit the minute button for 2 minutes. It worked for about 15 seconds and shut off. This continued to happen so I returned it and got another one. This one worked for about 3 days and started doing the same thing. I finally returned it and I am now looking for one that works. Sharp is a good brand, I can't believe that it was such a piece of junk.

I have a small kitchen, so this worked well. I have only had it for 3 wks now. So far so great. It smelled slightly when first used, more like a new product smelled, which left after that one time. It's a little louder than I would have expected, but I also haven't had a microwave in years believe it or not, so that just may be that I am not use to it. Sleek, small and great for the price

The only blemish on the product is a slight bubbleing of the door striped decal right near the edge of the door to the right. And the digital clock is dificult to see. Other than than that I like it. I'll probably hang it from one of my upper kitchen cabnits. To bad it didn't come with hanging brackets.

I was amazed at the low cost of this microwave, only wish it was a little bigger. My daughter had it on her gift registery for her bridal a nd wedding showers. I almost didn't buy it because of it's size. I decided that if it was the wrong one for her she could easily exchange it. And being able to ship it to her new home was such a bonus; no one had to carry it from place to place. I simply wrapped it when it arrived and it was waiting for them when they returned from their honeymoon. And as it turned out it was exactly what the wanted. Sharp is a great product for the money; and Walmart came through just like always!

Today i took this microwave from walmart. grt deal for 46$. BUT microwave door not closes and opens properly, i have to press it hard to close. may be i got a diffective piece, also making loud sound while closing. I am going to exchange this with a new one. cheapest ever seen, GE for the same price we get .7 cu feet and 700 volts microwave.
