Nikon 10 x 50mm Action Binocular

The Nikon 10 x 50mm Action Binoculars have a multicoated, high resolution, aspherical lens system to give you an extremely clear, distortion-free image over the entire field of view. The advanced eyepiece design also offers substantial eye relief for eyeglass compatibility. Multi-layered anti-reflective lens coatings deliver optimum brightness, high contrast, true color rendition and flare-free viewing. The diopter control compensates for common left eye/right eye vision imbalance. These binoculars are built on an all-metal chassis housed in a tough, lightweight polycarbonate body shell.

good glasses clear and zoomable althogh need a tri pod for glassing far unless you wont breath or move i can pick apart the sides of hills with them and could count deer points at 500yrds. with a clear image

Great Binoculars, 02/24/2008

I have been an Astronomer since 1988.
I have done a lot of astrophotography during
this time. I have also done a lot of viewing.
I have looked through a lot of optical trains for
various OTA's (Optical Tube Assemblys). My
Main Scope is a C11" schmidt. I also have an
a SV80mmS Refractor put out by Stellavue.
I was really impressed by these Binoculars. I sued
them on a week and 1/2 adventure I spent at Yellowstone National park. I have also used them
to find celestial objects in the universe. The wide field made it easy to find celestial objects.
GREAT BINOCULARS !!!

crystal clear sharp bright images.
tempted to buy Bushnell's "auto-focus" . . but I think they are hocus-pocus.
Nikon's reputation is evident in these binocs
. . gotta go look at some birds in the back yard now . . . cya

I bought the Nikon Action 10x50mm binos for hunting and they are superb.
In fact, on a managed hunt in a Quality Deer Management County in Georgia, I spotted a buck at 80 yards and used the Nikon binoculars to determine that he was one-point shy of being a shooter. Without the clarity and magnification of those glasses, I could have made a horrible misjudgement.
In other recent hunting excursions, I've spotted deer farther than ever. I make sure I'm wearing these binoculars every time I leave my vehicle to scout or hunt.

My husband and I are avid hunters and we would both recommend this product. We have bought several other, more expensive binoculars, but these are by far the best ones for the price. Whether we hunt at our Midwest home or out west, we always take these.
