Coffee maker looks and sounds appealing online, but I just wasn't very happy when I got it. It was cheaply made and looks flimsy. I returned it before I even got to use it. Didn't look like it was a durable machine.

For someone willing to have a 6-cup coffee maker, you will not find a better one. Everything about it is great...from looks to functionality. It has a grinder if you prefer to buy whole bean coffee, it has a water filter if you are concerned about using tap water, it pours a nice hot cup of coffee without any spilling...and it's a steal at only $40. If mine ever stops working, I'd gladly pay twice as much to replace it with the same one. You will not be disappointed in purchasing it!

This is certainly one of the best coffee makers that I have purchased -- easy to use, on/off switch easy to access, doesn't spill water and coffee all over the countertop and makes a great cup of coffee (perhaps due to the charcoal filter) in just a few mintes. The design is very appealing and it takes up very little space on the countertop. It's 6-cup capacity is perfect for a good-sized cup of coffee in the morning and another to take along in my thermal cup for later. I am very pleased with this Sanyo's design and perfomance.

This little coffee grinder/maker. Is ingeniously designed. It looks smart It is ergonomically balanced. The price is definitely right. I like the embedded water filter.
The only negative comment that I have is that the glass coffee is very thin. That makes more susceptible to breakage.

I have used this product for about 6 years or so. That is twice as long as any other coffee maker I have owned. My friend has purchased 3 coffee machines in the same time period!! My Sanyo 6-cup finally wore out after use every day for about 6 years! It makes a great pot of coffee or does a fabulous job with tea as well. This little guy is so versatile, dependable and makes coffee fast, as coffee machines go. It is a lttle work horse. I truly have enjoyed and loved using it for many years; so much so that I didn't even shop for another coffee maker, I just got another Sanyo 6-cup!

I have had it now for 3 weeks. I bought it for the tea maker. Works well, just needs extra parts that allows longer brewing/steeping times for tea. An extra basket and carafe would have been nice since the glass carafe is so thin and prone to breaking. Since buying it, I am now open to trying different coffees. The grinder works well.
