Daewoo 0.9 cu. ft. Stainless Steel Built-in Toaster and Microwave Combo, KOG-867T9

This was a good purchase. I was just disappointed when I found out you are not allowed to place certain items in the toaster. (ie: frosted pasteries, frozen pasteries and the larger bagels). But it is very good and at a great price.

The product is very nice. She said it does not slide around like many of the microwaves in the same price range seem to do. The only thing it doesn't do well is toast with different settings.

quiet running so that i don't disturb my sleeping children at night. Toasts food perfectly. Don't over cook food that needs to be defrosted. I bought two of this product one for myself and one for a valentines give for my parents and they also love it. I would have to say it would be the best product.

My family is very pleased with this microwave/toaster. The toaster is easy to figure out and it toasts bread very well. The microwave performs very well, too, but we are still learning about all of the various features and options. Until then, we simply are keeping the instruction booklet close by. We haven't had the unit long enough to know about durability.

This microwave met our expectations. We were wanting a stainless steel microwave and we got one. Unlike the picture, the whole microwave is stainless. It is super quiet when running and cooks the food evenly. I have yet to use the toaster. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a microwave!

I had never heard of a toaster in a microwave until I saw this model on Walmart.com. It's great having the toaster and so far it works fine. The microwave seems to work no different/special than any other microwave. The only complaint I have it the turntable inside is a little noisy once in a while and the manual is confusing to read. But it's a great space saving combo microwave. I highly recommend.

I've used the Daewoo microwave/toaster combo for two days. Two problems: (1) the Memory feature will only store one setting at a time. The toaster is not producing evenly cooked/browned toast. I'm wondering if the bread needs to be placed in the center of the drawer or in some other position to toast two slices evenly. I use a toaster oven for large items like bagels, muffins, waffles, etc. Bagels should only be toasted on the cut side anyway, which can be done with a toaster oven set on Broil.
As for the microwave oven features, they are an improvement over my 1998 Sears Kenmore. Example, the Speedy Cook feature can be set in 30 second increments up to 5 minutes. However, I'm in the habit of using the numbered keypad for most of my tasks because it provides better control over heat and cook timing.
I always use a microwave cover. It keeps your oven clean; it concentrates heat/moisture onto the food rather than in the oven cavity; it prevents dehydration and build-up of moisture inside the cavity, and it speeds up cooking/reheating time which saves energy $. Always wipe out accummulated moisture from the oven because it can cause serious damage over time. Place napkins or paper towels on the glass microwave dish to catch spills and absorb excess moisture. These tips and precautions can extend the life of your oven.

great product for the dollar. toaster is nice addition but does have problems with bagels. Thick bagels kinda burn. not to big of a problem.. more of the bagel makers fault. looks really nice. we use it in our office so it gets a lot of use.

this is perfect for people with small kitchens. a real space saver and works perfectly.
