I bought this for my husband b/c he always wanted one. well after 20 minutes of trying to take it out of the box, 20 minutes trying to get it to turn on and 5 minutes of playing with it, he decided he didn't want it. It takes alot of batteries and he couldn't imagine how quickly you would go thru them. They should have made it w/a rechargeable battery. This would be good for someone who wants to take the time to program it. I think he would have liked it better if it was already programmed to do a bunch of things. He said it would take him a year figure out how to get it to bowl. The idea is nice but who has the time/hours to play with this thing?

All my 4 year old wanted last Christmas was a robot that talked, walked and you put batteries in the stomach. We coudln't find that robot (I don't think it exiist). So, we bought this one... you don't put his batteries in this stomach, but my son still aproved. I think this robot met and went over his expectations. The only problem is he's still kind of young for it. But, that doesn't bother me or his dad... we LOVE it. We also love showing it off. It's good times. This maybe the only toy my son still plays with since last Christmas as well.
