nice little hoop and backboard for small kids. it can be used indoors or outdoors (i wouldn't leave it outdoors, bring it back inside when they're done using it ). it's a good product at a good price. one word to the wise, there are three screws and nuts to connect the back brace and metal rim to the backboard. becasue of the design and the fact that the screws have nothing to control them by (not a phillips head or straight screwdriver ) the end of the screw is just smooth. when you try and tighten the nuts to the bolts the bolt spins and cannot be tightenened. after a half hour when i was on the verge putting the whole thing in the trash i took a ride to lowe's and bought my own hardware. now it's all set up and working perfectly.

My 5 year old son got this for his birthday. Works great!! He loves it. I did buy some nerf basketballs for him to use as the one that comes with it left orange marks on the wall and it could easily break something. Hours of fun. The only drawback is the door doesn't close all the way. But still works great and would definitely purchase this product again!

This basketball hoop is well worth the purchase. I have no problems with this product. It brings my son hours of happiness. Only thing I would suggest is that you put your own extra padding between unit and the door. Can be noisy. But as far as the product itself, its excellent! We are very satisfied.

The SKLZ Pro mini hoop beats nurf hands down when it comes to endurance and realistic look. It has been a birthday gift favorite by many boys since having played it at our house....or play room turned basketball court. I highly recommend it as long as you can stand the ball bouncing in the house. The ball is much like a regular basketball that you inflate with a pump and pin so there will be some banging around.....but they are boys! Enjoy it. Get extra balls too to make playing even more fun.

I purchased this hoop for my eight and six year old boys who love basketball. They play every day for hours sometimes. When their friends are over they have mini games. It has definitely been worth the money for days they can't play outside. Even my two year old loves trying to make a shot!

Wish it had more padding, will had more padding at some point. Also the ball is like a rubber outdoor ball so if you pump it up all the way, its pretty loud when it hits the backboard/door/wall/rim. Overall I love it

This is a great product. The backboard with break-away rim is pretty sturdy. The construction of the clips that hold the hoop on the door is solid (ie it holds up to dunking very well). It has the 'real backboard/hoop' look and feel. The ball is great, looks and feels good (better than previous 'generations' of the SKLZ ball, which warped). Enjoy!

*crash* this thing makes for some awesome-dangerous indoor basketball play, just watch out for those wicked rebounds on any long-range shots. the quality is amazing for the price. just make sure you put electrical or masking tape. and don't ACTUALLY dunk if you want to keep your hollow door in one piece. also something to hold the door in place tends to be useful, especially if there's not any thick carpeting involved.
the good news if the ball ever wears out, you can simply replace it with any other mini basketball, which are very easy to find. awesome idea and execution.
