i really like this recorder but i was told they are no longer selling cassettes for it i went to buy some and they no longer sell them so what to do this is a great recorder but when you cant buy tapes buying it would not be good

Handy but noisy.,

I loved the size and features but unfortunately the internal noise that comes through the speaker distracts greatly from listening to your recording. This noise was present when you hit the play button whether the cassette is in or not. The noise increases if you increase the volume, too. I followed the directions on cleaning the inside parts with alcohol but it made no difference. You can decrease this noise by lowering the volume but then your recording is less audible, too.

a tad expensive but hopefully reliable for what I need it for, the last sony recorder i had became disconnected where you record, not sure if i can fix it so I bought a new sony, we shall see if its good when i really need it. it does have a counter on it which my other one didn't so now I will know how much tape I have left to record on..its all good
