A friend of mine told me about this book she had read 5 times. She lent me her copy which was falling apart. After reading 1/4 of the way through I could tell why! It is such a great story and even better that it is a christian book. I read the entire thing in about 2 days. I immediately went online and ordered 2. One for myself and one for my mom because I knew it would be a book she liked. I plan on reading this book over and over again! Francine Rivers writes some amazing things! I highly recommend this book.

I had not heard of this author until I found this book at my library. This book was a true page turner. I could hardly put it down. The story truly showed how an honestly forgiving heart can move you to tears. The story line took you through the life of a 3 year old child to adult. Coming of age is hard for a lot of people, but in this case life was made a horrible experience. God truly works in mysterious ways to bring us to him.

I couldn't put this book down! Francine Rivers does a wonderful job of showing God's love, mercy and forgiveness. God knows what makes us happy even if we don't - that's why trusting in Him is so important! Would definitely recommend this book to anyone!

This has a good story line. The book held my attention and certainly portrayed the love and forgiveness of our Saviour. It was a very good romance, but I would hesitate to compare it with the book of Hosea.
