I had my eye on these for a while, as my sister & brother-in-law have the same model bought new in the summer of 2007 (for twice the price it is now), so it comes highly recommended. This is our first GPS, and before now we didn't really figure we needed it, but a few times we found ourselves on highways looking for points of interest, such as places to eat...case in point we wound up driving for 20-30 minutes finding somewhere for dinner, so having the Garmin would have helped greatly. I must say that directions are sometimes not the most direct, or fastest, to follow....but overall its very good at helping in identifying routes & calling out turns along the way. Setup was easy...I highly recommend registering online, and downloading the PDF manual, although the setup and summary guide included are good enough to get you started.

This product is both useful and safe. The navigation system can direct you to the doorstep to any address you can think of. By being hands free and using voice commands, it keeps your eyes on the road and not on a map while trying to drive. I have used this device in rental vehicles for the past 12 months and when renting now, it is part of my profile. Because of the repeated use while working, I have pruchased this system for my personal vehicle.

This was very easy to load and work with. I tried a Tom-Tom but it would not lock on to a satelite for gps. This one worked instantly out of the box

My husband bought one for me. Love it so much we got one for our son and our grandson. Very easy to navigate. Only one negative, which probably is the same for any GPS. It gets confused in the mountains. Would recommend for anyone.

The product is good, but it is a 2005 model that I purchased in November 2007. I wanted to upgrade the mapping of the GPS and was suprised to find out to upgrade it would cost me an additional $69.99. So now I am totally disappointed in the Garmin Company and will never buy another product of theirs.

This product is rated number one with my family. I have an older one from years ago when my husband bought me one for work. I bought him and my son one for the holidays. They love it. Would recommend to get a garmin over any other brand. I had an issue with mine, and they repaired it for me for free. They are great!

Purchased this GPS for my Dad, who is 75, and it works great! Even though he is deaf in one ear, the volume can be set loud enough for him to hear the directions. The unit does lose satellite connection more often than I expected, but it automatically resets itself when the signal becomes available again with no intervention on the part of the driver. Did find that if your front windshield is very slanted, it can't be mounted to the windshield - we just sat it on the dash (but beware of those sudden stops and shart turns). Overall, very pleased wtih this model.

I test drove a Megellan it the graphics didn't even compare to the Garmin C330. I've now had my Garmin c330 now for about a year and I wouldn't trade it for any other brand. I even recommended it to my parents and in-laws and they both bought it. It's not a high end unit with all of the bells and whistles but it is simple and easy to operate. I highly recommend this unit for everyone. P.S. I heard one complaint about not being able to see the screen very well during daylight hours - bogus! This is a rare occurance.

This GPS system is the best I have ever used. Very easy to program in minutes. Detailed visual directions with talking navigator. Reroutes you in seconds if you have taken the wrong direction. Lightweight, durable and perfect size to fit into luggage when traveling. We highly recommend this unit for those like me that get easily lost with print out directions from the internet.

I have one of these and love it for finding local streets. I have tried it on long trips a couple of times and haven't like the way it takes me. It very seldom matches up with mapquest. I would love to see this be able to input waypoints so you can map out a route for trips
