Garmin StreetPilot c330 Auto GPS

My husband travels a lot. He was constantly calling me asking me to check a map for him while he was driving down some interstate and I thought this might me a good gift. However, I wasnt sure if he would use it so I didnt want to spend too much money on it. I purchased this item even though there were more expensive models with more features. I have never had a problem with this item, it works great and my husband is continually telling me this is the best gift I have ever gotten him. He has had no problems with any of the streets/directions being out of date or any of the problems I read about from other customers. We are extremely happy with this item. Great for the price!

This product is very user friendly. I have seen many other GPS in use and I have to say Garmin 330 is the best. I recommended this product to all my friends and every one that have purchased this device say they are very thankful that I recommended the Garmin 330.

used it around town and out of town very accurate. i like the idea you can search certain places and download poi like lakes and rivers i am planning a trip to lake springfield this summer.thanks

This GPS is very simple to use, and seems to know all the odd little streets in our area, so very likely it will be accurate in more well traveled areas. We love the freedom to find an interesting destination on the internet, put it in the Garmin, and off we go. We are looking forward to many adventures.

This product is easy to use, easy to follow, and a life-saver for anyone who has a hard time following directions on a map. It tells you when to turn about a half mile before you need to, and then again when you get to the turn. It also shows a map of the road you are on as you are driving, so you can be reassured that you are going the correct way. If you take a wrong turn, it will "recalculate" and redirect you on how to get back on track. It's great when you're trying to find some place and the street signs are missing, since it doesn't need those to get you where you're going.

I like my GPS, the only problem is that new roads are not available. I have to drive to people's homes for a living and it is convenient unless they live on a street that was made within the last 5 or so years.

I bought this GPS before I left on a cross-country road trip: San Diego to Boston, via Austin, TX. The Garmin was extremely accurate, simple to use and worked even in the most remote areas of NM and TX, where I simply assumed it wouldn't. The maps refresh automatically and the settings can easily be changed to let you choose (to some degree) your preferences. Now I use it trying to find tougher destinations in the cities, and it's still really accurate. Once in a while - if you're in a tough intersection - it can get confused because it's GPS: it can be tough for it to tell your exact spot on parallel roads or clover-leafs. But if you pay attention to it and follow the directions, 99.9% of the time it will steer you right to where you're going.

We borrowed this from our oldest daughter to get to a soccer game at a field we had never been to before 2 hours away from home. It led us to the exact field from our door step in less time than the coaches directions. It gave us a more direct route in less miles meaning we spent less on gas. I just ordered our own, afterall it is the beginning of the season and traveling all over the state this year. No more fights about what the map says. I can sleep while hubby drives and I don't have to figure out where we are or when we turn. Plus it tells you how long the trip is! Harmony has invaded our car! LOL Thanks Garmin!
