This is perhaps the most well made movie that I have ever seen. I show it to my students every single semester and I have yet to receive a reaction from them that doesnt involve a life altering theme.

A life changing movie, for a soon to be Ché and me

At the theater, I saw a preview of this movie. Their arrival at Macchu Picchu touched me deeply. I went to work the next day and organized a trip to Peru. When I arrived, I felt the same things Ernesto describes in the movie. Amazing!!!!
I went home and watched the movie on DVD. Every time I see it, I go back in spirit to that spiritual place and relive my trip with my dear friends and I think of all the beautiful indigenous people we met.
This trip was life changing for Ernesto Guevara (El Ché), and his great friend, Alberto Granado. My trip was life changing also and has made me appreciate the beauty of Peru, and all the places in Latin America, where I've been blessed to travel.

An Exhilarating Ride

Gael Garcia Bernal gives a great performance as a young Che Guevara on a road trip of discovery with his best friend. This is a great drama that really explores how Che formed his opinions that would later make him a revolutionary leader. It is a must see for any foreign film fan, but I would reccomend it to anyone.
