Overall, I do love the look of this crib. However, the drop siderail is very difficult especially with a sleeping baby in your arms. We rarely ended up using that feature. The drawer has also been a problem. Everytime you open the drawer it falls off the track. The "safety rail" to convert the crib to a toddler bed is not effective either.

This product is definitely worth the money. Be careful when reading the instructions or lack there of! As most said, the drawer does not hold much so light storage is perfect!

The item arrived in a timely fashion, and was not damaged during the shipping. The directions were a little bit complicated, but we were able to put the crib together in less than 1 hour. The item is pressed wood, so it does scratch easily - we found that out very quickly unfortunately, but it is a good value for the price. Hopefully it will last through all 3 stages!!

We just got our new crib in and it wasn't too hard to put together. We had it done in about 30 minutes. Our baby isn't born yet, but so far it seems like it will be a nice crib for her, and hopefully it will convert into a nice bed and last a long time. I read the other reviews about chipped paint and mis-aligned holes, but we did not have that problem.

We really did a lot of research before choosing a crib for baby #2, and chose the Rochester because of the overall look, drop down side, great reviews, and the great price. We bought it on rollback, and had it shipped free site-to-store. The pieces had no damage whatsoever, and we were very impressed by how well it was packaged. My husband put it together, with very little help from me, in less than an hour without any problems, and he was very impressed by the quality of this crib! Our first child's crib cost well over $100 more, (DaVinci) but we actually prefer this one. It is very sturdy, and very well made. We couldn't be happier that we chose this crib, and would most definitely recommend it!

We ordered three for a nursery. Loved them. Look very neat, sturdy, and the drawer underneath is a pleasant addition. Took about 45 minutes to assemble first, 30 mintues for other two. One drawer had two of the same sides, called them, they will be shipping correct piece to me soon.

I ordered this crib online back in January since my local walmart didn't have the crib I wanted. My fiance put the crib together for our son, though now that he is here (he was born in march) he hasn't slept in it yet. He's been sleeping with us, but I will put him in the crib soon for him to get used to it. We first put him in it to take naps and change his diaper after we got home from the hospital.
I love how there is a pull out drawer under the crib; I put his blankets and sheets in there. The only problem we had with this crib was the rail not collasping very well. It gets stuck and you have to bend down and disconnect it. Other than that, the crib is beautiful and glad I bought it.

We have done a LOT of research on cribs and have experienced two cribs with our other children that we would not recommend. This one is WONDERFUL though! Very beautiful and we had no issues with it's condition when it arrived and it sets up very easy...our 3 year old helped daddy and it went so quick he never got bored! =)
Our issue is that was need to order 2 more of these cribs because we are having triplets and they have been "not available" for a good 3 weeks now. These seem to be a hot item so if you see it available, jump on it....just leave 2 for us!
Definitely the BEST product you will get for a third of the price in other stores! Truly a product that is worth more than what you pay for!

Reading other reviews, I understand what everyone is saying, but you do get what you pay for. I am not expecting perfection for a little over $200. There were some paint touch-ups on our crib also. The directions were not difficult to follow.. but there is one separate step that you are to do before you start on the big set of directions.. that's where it is confusing. If you do the little one that comes separate in a package with some bolts, there is no problem. We didn't have any issue putting together.. the drawer is fine. Looks pretty-- haven't used it yet, so can't say if it'll last a long time .. but we're happy with what we got for the money.

The crib arrived by the promised delivery date in perfect condition. It took my husband about 2 hours to put together, but we were expecting it to take longer. The crib is sturdy and beautiful! The railing is super easy to get up and down with one hand. The drawer on the bottom is a little flimsy, but it's good enough to hold sheets or baby blankets. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and so glad I didn't go for the expensive crib models that don't have more to offer.

I searched high and low for the right crib for our baby boy. I compared almost 40 different cribs from all different manufacturers. This was the crib that gave us it all for the money. My husband assembled it in less than an hour and it was wonderful. Our only complaint is the bottom drawer. It is very flimsy. Thank goodness he's a carpenter and was able to reonstruct a few things to make it as sturdy as could be. We now love it! It looks so beautiful in our son's room. Even though the brackets have been recalled and we placed an order for replacement parts...we trust we will not have any problems with this crib.

the product overall is good. The crib is very sturdy but, the hardware for the under drawer was flimsy and 1 peg broke with very little force. The locking screws should be metal instead of plastic!! After all thats what holds the drawer together. After four kids I've seen a lot of cribs and the construction of this one is by far the sturdiest.

We just received this crib and we're very excited. Hubby and mother-in-law had it together in less than 2 hrs w/out a problem. It's very sturdy and everything works great. I really love how this crib looks! Much prettier in real life! The front slides down which is great for newborns. It did get chipped (on the toddler bed side rail piece) during the shipping, but I found the paint chip and it won't be too obvious when it is glued on.
It wasn't too difficult to put together if you read the instructions several times before attempting to assemble, but you need two people.

We assembled our crib yesterday (btw, we were dreading it from some of the reviews and thought it would take all day) BUT it only took an hour and it looks awesome! No scratches or blemishes, everything works smoothly, its great! Yes, directions were sketchy as mentioned from others, but if you lay all pieces out prior to building, its a piece o cake! Will absolutely recommend this to people!
