My dog loves this kennel!!!!! It is airy and open, she has alot of room to move around. I will say if you have an escape artist, or scratcher, they would shred this. Mine loves it though and it is sturdy, I cannot wait to take it camping with us...

I was surprised at how light weight and compact this cartrier is. I bought this for my 11 month old Dobe, for us on vacation. My Dobe is kennel trained and obedience trained. We tried this out at home, at first he tried to dig his way out, however a few discouragements paid off. He was safe and comfortable in the carrier. I am actually still using this in my house as my Dobe seems content with it. I am considering an additional one for our 6 month old female Dobe.

I love this crate, it is super durable and portable. For the price it is a excellent buy. My dog fits perfectly with extra room in it. He loves his home. We take it with us whenever we are staying over grandpa's house or going to visit my brother in Florida. It collapes easily and my dog plays in it , sleeps in it and just chills. Perfect item. Love it so does Rocco. Thanks Walmart for the wonderful crate.

I purchased this as a 'second' home for our 9 month old Lab Mix. We use it for travel in the SUV and as a weekend crate for her while on lake house visits. After reading all the positive reviews, I felt it would suit our needs perfectly-and it does. Sturdy, steady and top notch fabric & construction all add up to a great value. It was super easy to set up/breakdown for storing away. The top & front zippered access panels make 'checking in' or slipping her toys/treats a breeze! She actually 'settles down' quickly once in, think it fells 'cozy' to her. And an FYI, she's been a big 'chewer' and still has major puppy behaviors, but haven't had any problems with her trying to 'tear her way out'... Price couldn't be matched for the value-I say GO FOR IT!

Most hotels require that your dog be crated when you leave the room.
I have more heavy-duty (heavier) crates, but due to age and disability, I can no longer easily carry them. The PetNation Port-A-Crate solves my dilemma!
Warning - you may have to train your dog to accept being in a crate if you've not already done so. I only fed my Belgian girl IN the crate for a week. She accepts it now, and I've left her in it for more than 3 hours. No struggles - she just rests calmly.
We will be able to attend an out-of-town dog show now! I am very happy with the new crate!

Bought the 36" for my 6mo old mini labradoodle. He is 23lbs lbs 17 inches but loves to sprawl out. This product is perfect. Easy to set up, well made and super portable. We use it as our everyday kennel and just fold and go when we travel. Love it!

The Walmart website was very easy to use & online ordering was a breeze. My dog crate came in on the early side of the time-frame listed. I picked up my crate the week of Christmas (!) and even though the store & the special order pick-up desk were crazy busy, those associates were organized, professional & getting customers' their items quickly. I was in & out of the store in 15 minutes! Well done!!

After reading the reviews, I noticed most of the problems some people had were due to dogs not use to crates or not trained very well, not the product. The manufacturer clearly states these issues on a red card included with the crate. I purchased this crate anyhow because it was a great price and I have confidence in my dog and the training I've done with him. I bought it for my 80 pound German Shepherd to sleep in on our RV on trips. He loved it and it was easy on me not having to cart around his Vari kennel or take it apart so I could get in the door of our RV. Yes he did figure out how to open the screen door with his nose but once I remembered to use the zipper lock that issue was solved. This crate stores easily and sets up in seconds.

The first time we used this my 1 yr old Boxer chewed out the bone shaped window and escaped in less than 2 hours. He has been crate trained since birth. But before that happened I was very pleased with the size and price !! Just wish my $50 lasted longer than the crate did.

Although this crate is made of cloth, it has a metal frame and is easy to set up. This is not for a dog that likes to chew or dig. My 40+ lab puppy is 5 months old and very calm. I put a pad on the floor and she will quietly sleep in the crate. We have an RV and use the crate there because it is light weight and I can easily move it.

Great portable crate for the money

I'm using this 36" crate at agility trials for my Australian Shepherd. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product. It is super easy to put up and take down. When its folded it has nice little quick release buckles that keep it nicely folded and a carry handle on the side. I greatly prefer this to a bag. Many models are made to be stored in a bag and don't have a closing mechanism and handle on their own. This one is perfect for me. It has less visibility for the pet. But, I like the privacy it gives. I don't feel the need to always throw a blanket over the top like I typically would with other crates. Love it!

I started using this crate in our minivan for traveling when he was a puppy (I like my leather seats if you know what I mean). Now I use it in our bedroom where he sleeps. He is a large Golden Retriever and fits just fine. He loves being in there and I love that he has a safe place away from my 1, 3, and 5 year old! The opening at the top and the side vents are a great feature. Durable materiel as we have used this every day for over a year and it is still in great shape. I've even seen my 3 and 5 year old standing and sitting on the top of it! ugh. It is light weight and it breaks down flat so easily! We use it in hotel rooms and camping all the time and it's so easy to get in and out of skinny doorways because you can collapse it in seconds. No problems with the zippers or the mesh. I would buy this again.

About 3 years ago I shopped around and ended up buying 2 of these crates. I have 2 dogs, a lab and a border collie. I show them both, and take them to training class weekly. So over the course of the last 3 years these crates have been used and abused, taken up and put down countless times, loaded and unloaded from vehicles, taken to class and put on wet grass, and the covers have even been washed several times. I have been extremely pleased with how well these crates have held up over time. In 3 years of use and abuse the only noticeable issue is that the spring on the mechanism to hold up the top has become a little sticky, so it's harder to use than it once was (but still functional). Other than that, I have had no issues. I should mention that my dogs are well crate trained and don't chew/scratch, so that's one kind of abuse these crates have not suffered, but IMO they would hold up as well as any of these type of crates. They are lightwieght, easy to fold, store nicely, and were a great purchase. They have worked as well as or better than crates my friends have that are 2-3X more expensive.

I needed a portable crate. I had ordered a metal one but it turned out to weight nearly 60 pounds which isn't portable in my opinion. This crate weight less than 15 pounds and is very portable. Like the ad says it is not strong enough to contain a determined dog so your dog needs to be crate trained. The crate set up in less than two minutes and was exactly what I needed for my trip. The two clips on either side keep the crate flat for storage and transport. I put a mat in the bottom to make the crate more comfortable for the dog. She did try to push her way out between the zipper but with a verbal correction she stopped than behavior. They get a little excited to exit the crate so they could push their way out and potentially damage the zipper. Suggest you make the dog sit or lay down prior to allowing them to exist for they are less excited on the exist. The mat in the crate also made it more comfortable and made it heavy enough that it didn't move when the dog moved around. I think the crate being so light weight made it a bit odd for the dog, the crate shifting when the dog shifted, until I put in the bed/mat to weight the bottom down. That made it shift around less.
I would buy this crate again. I do wish the zippers were heavy duty rather than the type of zipper one gets in a pair of pants. That is a design flaw which I would pay more for a crate that used heavy duty zippers. I may take it to a shoe repair store and see if they can take out the original zippers and put in some heavy duty ones. That way the crate would be 5 Star. Even if a dog bust out the mesh it looks like one could very easily sew replacement mesh back into the crate. I was very impressed with Walmart's fast shipping and the very low rate charged to upgrade to faster shipping. Under $10 for the shipping and upgraded shipping is a fantastic deal especially for such a large package!!

I like the light weight and ease of setting it up. The cost is less than 1/2 of other brands and is just as tough. However, my Weimaraner was left in it in a hotel room for about 3 hours. She chewed a hole in the fabric just under the zipper. The zipper opened, and she was free! I will order a replacement, but will muzzle her while unsupervised and see how that goes. She could possibly dig open the teeth in the zipper. I'll write an update.

I have an older dog who can't use a metal mesh crate anymore. She has become unable to walk well. In the metal crate her leg would go thru the bars and I was afraid that she would break her leg trying to get up. This folding cloth crate is very well constructed and provides a comfortable enclosed area that my dog liked immediately. The mechanisms are well thought out and everything works very well. It has a zippered top flap that is large enough for me to lower my dog in to the crate.
