I love the concept of this for my dog- I needed a crate that could fit in the car and was lightweight, and that would not damage the seats.
My only issue with it is the new-rubber smell-- it's terrible! I can't leave it in the car because of the stench.

We purchased this for our new puppy to assist in crate training. She spends her days in a metal crate, but at night she loves hopping in here. It's great to be able to take with us since it's so portable and compact. Would not recommend for to use solely for crate training, as the dog can easily chew or scratch their way out. Great value.

I bought this to transport my dog in my car. I love the fact that it folds flat so that I can store it in the trunk. I would recommend this crate for that purpose.

I've had this crate for 2 weeks. If anything changes, I will try and update this review. However, so far so good. I have a 2yr? Australian Cattle Dog that I crate while we are gone. We started with a wire crate and still use it for vehicle trips. This crate is in our main floor living area. I keep the flap open and she comes and goes as she wants. When we leave the house, in she goes to stay. It is was easy setup. I have not taken it down since I set it up 2 weeks ago. We put a cushion mat in the bottom along with a saddle pad for her to lie on. Zippers have held up with no issues. She does have chew toys in with her so if she needs something to do while are gone. The longest she has been in the kennel is 4 hours. We exercise our dog before putting her in her crate. A tired dog is a good dog. I bought a pop up kennel for the upstairs from the Tgt store and the zip broke in 3 weeks. I came back to order another for her to use at night in our room. I researched and read reviews before making this purchase on various websites. Walmart has the best price. The E32 is a good size for a 35lb ACD mix.

I got this for my 2 terrier mixes. They are small enough that they can stay in it together. It lasted over a year. They figured out how to open the zipper by scratching at it, but it comes with a clip to keep the zipper in place. it took them over a year to chew a hole in it and actually rip the zipper apart. I wouldn't hold it against the crate, they can destroy anything. Overall it is great.

Perfect size for our 2 small dogs. We use only for night sleep and traveling. It is so easy to set up for the "girls" and is simple to take down. We put doggie pillows on the bottom and they just love it.

I needed something light and easy to set up for dog shows and vacations for my toy and mini poodles as opposed to a heavy metal crate. Similar crates were $100 up on Amazon and elsewhere. I purchased the medium so they could both fit comfortably. It was perfect with room to spare. It is sturdy, attractive, and I feel like I stole it at the price. I had it set up in minutes. Buy it!

We got this crate to calm our dog in our car.
It works great. No more barking at motorcycles, and she seems to like her new "den" in the car.
Because she could see out the mesh door, we attached a cover using Velcro strips. It works fine now.
Plus, the Walmart price is 50% of what you will pay at Amazon.com.
Same quality, same shipping, but half the cost.

I have a four month old border collie puppy and I bought this for two reasons...
1. My collie currently gets car sick and this keeps her 'contained' in my backseat (fits in 2011 Corolla behind driver seat) when driving... Less vomit on my seats!

2. I drive 2hrs to see my girlfriend every other weekend and I wanted a crate that I could put in the car, pull out and bring in her place easily.. The metal crate is much too heavy and a hassel.

Larger than I thought it would be.. a 30in would have been perfect for me. As of right now, I have to flatten it, and put it in the car, and then pop it up.

Mesh is definitely the weakest part.. My pup hasn't chewed on it yet, I usually have a bone and toys in there when I'm away but I feel that if she does break thru, it wouldn't be too difficult to sow, tie, or even replace the mesh.
I considered buying a smaller one, but this one will fit my dog when she's full sized. It's a great crate to have! My collie prefers it over her metal crate. So this is the only one I use now.

I want to thank you for making sure the air travel note was posted. I absolutely love this kennel for my puppy of 2 months, however, had it not been for the details posted on specifics for air travel I would've purchased one and we would've gotten stuck at the airport on our way to Germany. Kudos Walmar for making sure customers are well informed prior to making purchases.

The crate arrived at my local store in just a few days and I was notified that it was available for pick up. When we set it up we realized it was too big for our dog. We found a smaller crate at the store and was refunded the difference. We are pleased with the service we received at the store.

I purchased this for my daughter's new Shih Tzu puppy and although he's a little guy, we wanted something he could be comfortable in and have a little room. We were able to put his bed inside and he loves it. The nurse at his Vet suggested getting something smaller but I think people should do what works best for them and considering we keep him in there while we are out; I didn't want him to be tight all day but wanted him to be able to move around as well. The crate is sturdy, stylish and affordable - thanks Walmart! :-)

This is a great carrier! Very sturdy and light weight. I use this size for my three cats to travel home or to the vet and they have plenty of room (they are about 10-13 pounds each) I love the way it folds down to be very compact. I have recommended to all my friends. The fabric is also very sturdy

I first saw this brand at Costco but the size was too large for what we needed so I went in search for a smaller one which was this. This expands and collapses with no instructions needed. We put this in the back of our car for travel it worked perfectly. We have two Boston Terriers (12 and 16lbs) who fit comfortably with a blanket and PLENTY of space. We left them in there a few times for a short period. They did jump and scratch to get out when we got back to the car and the mesh held up like a charm. I feel much better about their safety in the car and when leaving them behind while traveling. To get them used to this we had set this up in the house for a few days, the look and feel is sturdy and classy, not cheap and I didn't mind it in my home. Folds up simply for storage. Overall I give this 5 stars and would highly recommend.

I have a large plastic very durable crate I use for when we are away from home, but for night time or when she needs a nap, our new puppy sleeps in this one. If she wanted to, she could chew through it fairly quickly, although it is well-made, it is fabric, so I wouldn't suggest it for a sole crate to be used when the dog is left alone for extended periods, especially if she/he gets anxious and would try to escape. The metal frame is great, yet still lightweight enough where this is a great travel crate. It also folds up to about 4-5" thick so easy to transport and store when not in use. I like the washable vinyl floor which is easy to clean in case of accidents. A crate pad or folded towel would add some comfort for your furry friend. Overall this is a great crate, and the price cannot be beat, I looked EVERYWHERE--in stores and online to find a good crate like this for under $100 and it is hard to find. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I wouldn't be able to leave the dog alone in it for any length of time, I'm afraid she would get out and eat something--she eats everything! But, so far, I have left her overnight for 2 weeks straight and she has not broken out, so far so good.

I wanted this soft crate for my dog for the car and for dog shows. It was exactly what I needed. It folds up easily and can be carried. I've had others that were very confusing to fold up. This one is simple. Great for the car, dog shows, and agility trials.

This port-a-crate is just what we needed for our 22 lb border collie mix. She loves her wire crate and having this as a second one in our bedroom gives her another place to sleep. I thought it may be too big, but really is a great size for her. It is easy to set up and I can see will be great when we take her with us on trips, or if she has to go stay with my daughter. It had a bit of an odor but not now that it has aired for a week or so.
