These speakers were great for a small room home office. Not high end but watching a movie on a lap top at your desk or on line radio they are nice. They look excellent kind of a polished black. And for the price I was not disappointed.

Unit proudces a hum when plugged into the AC outlet which detracts from the overall sound quality. The unit has little bass output, but for $20 it is adequate.

It claims 800 Watts, more like 80. With the volume all the way up, it is like having headphones at normal volume. Might be good for an IPod, but not for a computer. But for the price, you get what you pay for. My Rating: C-

This is the perfect set of speakers for the college student who can't have a stereo in the dorm! When I watch movies on my laptop, it feels like I have surround sound with iConcept speaker system. I definitely recommend this product!

The subwoofer of these speakers severely underperforms. You can hear the bass, but you can't _feel_ it. For $5 - $10 more, Walmart offers Altec Lansing speakers whose subwoofer can really shake a room.

For the price paid, it's not a bad system. The sound quality is fairly decent but the woofer won't play the low bass notes and you can't turn it up very loud before the sound is distorted. I've had the system for a couple weeks now and have used it at least 1/2 dozen times and the left speaker seems to crack every now and then but it hasn't gone out. The plug-ins on the back of the sub are touchy and could use some better reinforcement from the factory. Overall, it's worth $18 but not much more.

I was looking for a basic no frills cheap sound system for gaming (ps2-socom) since the speakers blew out in my gaming tv. First thing i noticed was the small overall size. but I tested it on my portable dvd player with a couple movies and mp3 disks. I was rather surprised at the sound quality. it is much better than I expected. The bass is a little weak, but then its only a 4" driver so it wont boom out the low notes. My only real complaint is the volume control is located on the back of the sub housing. This makes it a little hard to adjust. Other than that its a great product for the price.

The 800 watts is deceptive, it may consume 800 watts but te rms per channel may be 10-20 watts per channel. I do like the sound its ten times better than oem speaker on the pc. I am buying a second set.
