"The Futurist" is an excellent CD. I'm often leery of actors who sign record deals, call themselves musicians, and end up torturing their audience. I was pleasantly surprised by Robert Downey, Jr.'s level of musicianship. He obviously has a clear vision of who he is and what he's capable of. His voice can be best described as a combination of Joe Cocker and Peter Gabriel.
This CD is easy to listen to while driving or just relaxing. I highly recommend it for those who like Joe Cocker, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, or Sting.
I hope that Robert Downey, Jr. continues to write and record music and I look forward to the next album.
