It was my first time to buy a portable airconditioner and so far,im so happy for this item that I purchased. There are very hot days here in San Diego and living without an airconditioner when ur expecting is really bothersome. it gave me so much comfort during the day,it cools quickly and I just changed it to fan when it gets cooler and it did the trick.

In the place we live we are not allowed to have window installed air conditioners...not sure why, but that is the policy. So, we began looking for a free standing air conditioner. We looked at a lot of them and for the money the Haier was the best in value, ease of use, energy savings, etc. It is the most awesome thing that we have owned. We went through last summer with fans alone...not a pretty picture, I have to tell you and we were all crabby from the heat. This product, by far has exceeded our expectations. Would I recommend it...yes indeed.
