I purchased this Haier air conditioner a month ago. It works really well, cooling a large room of over 1,000 sq. ft.. It is quiet, which is the main reason I chose this brand. The only thing I would like to see different is the angling on the vent. It does not turn down as far as I would like, as I have the air conditoner mounted in the wall at over 6 feet up.

Air conditioner did not work from day one because someone at the factory had failed to finish wiring it. It took three times as long for the warranty work to be done as we were originally told. Each time we called we were given a different answer as to the status of our inquiry and how long it is supposed to take for warranty work to be completed. Unit does seem to work fine now that it finally IS working, but our original issue coupled with problems we see others have had and the inept customer service we endured have made us wish we had never taken the chance of purchasing this unit vs. another we looked at.

I'm sure it's a great unit. I have purchased 4 Haier units within the last 2 yrs and they are great. Unfortunately, it wasn't clear that this needed a special outlet and I had to return it and buy a smaller unit with a regular plug. Walmart was very good about taking it back.

We bought this product followed all of the instructions to install this product and come to find out that it didnt work. We had to take it back out after sealing it to be left with a hole becuase of having to return it.
