As a novice walker, I wanted something that would tell me a little more than just the number of steps I walked. The Omron HJ-112 Premium Pedometer does just that and with accuracy. It calculates the number of walking/running steps, calories burned, arobic steps taken, and total distance walked/run for a 24 hour period. It then stores all the calculations in memory for a week, for easy comparisons and reference.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Started wearing it immediately and wear everyday, everywhere. The most accurate pedometer I've owned. Keeps me motivated to keep moving. At 6k steps so far but getting there slowly but surely.

This pedometer is not the best. I never shuts off and if you want to start a workout and track the info on the workout you can't. And it's very difficult to set up. I'm very unhappy with this purchase. And only Walmart can justify how something that mailed from GA took over a week to ship to NC when it shipped the day after I bought it. Not only will I never buy from Walmart online again, I don't recommend this pedometer.

This pedometer counts steps according to each individual's stride, which makes the count more accurate in determining how many miles walked. It is easy to set up and seems to be quite accurate.

Great pedometer. It was easy to set up and easy to use. I love the 7 days of history feature. Because it is slightly bulky, it is a little tricky to wear under dresses. I've attached it to bra or underwear and it still works fine. You just have to figure what works for you depending on the dress.

I have been wanting to get a pedometer for the longest time, glad I decided to choose this one. It is eady to use and I like the fact this it stores the info for 7 days. It challenges me to try to reach the health professionals suggested 10,000 steps a day.

I like the functions available; however, the screen seems to display all the time. My other pedometer would not do this and would end the active display until movement started again..seems like it uses too much battery this way. The step count is very accurate; however, it is bulky and has fallen off my waistband upon standing....will need to figure out a way to keep it more secure. Still pleased with the purchase overall.

This pedometer is great. The directions say that you can put it in a pocket, a bag, or clip it on your waist. I always clip it on, so I don't know about the others. For me it works great. I love the fact that it has a safety clip besides clipping it on so if it falls out it don't hit the floor. This is really cool if you go from sitting to walking a lot because sometimes getting up from a sitting position it will fall off, but the safety clip keeps it from hitting the floor. The miles measurement is a little off according to the treadmill, but that could either be from my measuring my steps wrong or the tread mill I use could be a little off. The numbers are really big, so I don't have to put on my glasses to see it. If you want to set a goal and make sure you reach it everyday, it works perfectly. I have had it for a few weeks and it still works good.

Does excellent job counting steps, miles, etc. This is my second one. I thought I had killed my first with the washer and dryer, but I forgot about the reset button. It works super. Now have two and have given 2nd one to a friend. love the clip so that I dont lose it! ove that it keeps 7 days worth of information too.

I have been using this pedometer for 10 days now and it is the easiest one I have ever had the pleasure of using. Seems to be very accurate (I have tested this repeatedly since that was my main complaint about previously-owned pedometers that just didn't count my steps!).
I just slide it into my pocket and clip the safety clip and go about my day.
I like that it resets automatically at midnight, and that the reset button is recessed so that I can't accidently hit it as in other ones I have owned.
I haven't used the computer connection yet, but I am planning to use the 7 days of information option soon.
