This was the first time I've purchased furniture from Walmart. I'd have to say I'm definitely surprised by my purchase. It wasn't very expensive but was really looking for furniture from Ikea. This really took awhile to put together because the directions were a little confusing. But once we started with the dresser and moved on to the chest, it became easier and easier. Definitely need 2 people if not 2 brains to put together. Total time probably was about 2-3 hours. But I'm happy with it!

The only thing I like about the dresser is the color. It takes about 3 hours and a lot of patience for one person to put it together. Some of the screws were missing from my package. It scratches very easy. In one of the draw's handle the screws cannot be screw all the way in. The draws don't line up on both side. I will only recommend this product to college dorm students. I don't think it will last longer.

My order arrived site to store on the date it was schedule to, I was very pleased. The dresser was packed very well. Once I open the box I made sure none of the parts were missing or had any scratches. I was very concern Because of the many reviews I've read on the dresser arriving damage. I believe the company change the way they pack the product. Assembling the dresser was not difficult, instructions were very clear but it did take a long time to complete. At 2 hours or more, but when it was finish the end result was worth it. The draws are not big at all but we're using it for baby's clothing. They line up pretty well, my husband did have problems with one at of the five but he just went back and made sure all screws were tight. It worked for the most part. I'm very happy with the look and of this dresser you can't beat the price. Let's see if it holds up for a year of two at least.

We needed more drawer space for our clothes in our bedroom and I was shopping around for an inexpensive dresser. I found this dresser, read the reviews, and ordered it Ship to Store. I go to Walmart maybe....2-3 times a year at most and usually don't shop there so I was unsure of the quality, etc. We got the dresser home and my husband put it together with no problems. He said it was like an Ikea piece, only 'cheaper' (in quality). If you know Ikea furniture, it's pretty good, not great so this dresser was similar...putting it together, how it looked, durability, etc. I also noticed that it was made in Canada. Overall, because this is an extra piece to hold our overflow of clothing and not the main piece in our bedroom, it definitely does the job and I would recommend it.

Looks great for the price, was easy to assemble and seems relatively sturdy. I bought the set for my guest room and have already gotten several compliments. All of the South Shore furniture came well-packaged and with clear assembly instructions (I bought the bed and night stand, too). We put the whole room together in about 2 hours.

This product is very pretty when you take a step back but upon closer inspection you will notice that it sits a little crooked and comes with chips on the finish. They send you a marker to paint over these chips and make the marks less noticeable, but I was kind of disappointed when we got it all put together. It looks nice though. It is very very cheaply made.

Not bad--the drawers can be a little off, and you should check all holes before sinking in pegs, and you really must follow the instructions carefully. Doing all that, however, will get you a fairly smooth assembly and the finished unit looks nice enough.

I don't usually write reviews unless I am highly pleased or incredibly displeased with an item. This item was not worth the time. First, the particle board split in assembling because it was so flimsy. Second; several pieces were missing. When you try to call customer support for SoHo, they are never available. Fortunately Walmart has a great return policy and they took it back. For the price; spend a little more and get something better quality; you'll be glad you did.

This dresser would be nice if the stupid drawers lined up correctly. They are all at an angle. Slightly tilted in on the left top corner and bottom right corner. Then, tilted out on the bottom left corner and top right corner. It simply looks sloppy. Otherwise, it might have been a nice piece to have. As it is, I just want to return it and get my money back.
