I like the clear directions and suggestions for fabric and trims. The patterns are simple enough for my beginner sewer granddaughter, yet are more than just a pullover tent. The ideas for the sandals are clever and cute. I am going to look for other books by this author. Very pleased with my purchase.

The book had a large variety of modern styles for the dolls. Included were sewing and knitting projects along with patterns for flip-flops and other accessories pleasing to young girls. Compared to regular patterns that can be purchased. the value was much greater.

I really like this book. It has loads of patterns and all are really cute. Great variety of contemporary clothes from very casual to athletic clothes to dressy dresses. Some of the directions are confusing, but an experienced sewer can figure out alternate ways of doing some things. Overall it is very worthwhile for me.
