HoMedics Sound Spa Machine with Timer

My 18 mo daughter wakes up to any sounds in the morning. This sound machine has allowed me to walk down the stairs in the morning without worrying about all the creaks in the floor! A couple of the sounds are a little too "noisy" for sleep in my opinion but the rest are wonderful. We switch it up fairly often for her. I am going to get one for my room now too! I highly recommend this product, and it will be my baby shower gift of choice from here on out!

I have purchased this sound machine for both of my children's bedrooms. I have had one for 2 years and I just purchased a second one. They both work great and help my children sleep great!!

I returned this product, not for damage, dislike, etc. I just didn't need for original reason. I will say I liked 5 of the 6 sounds. And, I believe it was a good price for the product. Anyone wanting to replace a fan for the "noise" would probably be very happy with this machine.

My son has to have white noise in order to stay asleep and this works great! I usually plug it in with the adapter but it also works with batteries and is so small and light I can take it with me if I know he's going to need a nap/ or be sleeping away from home. I also run a daycare as well as have my own babies and I use this for all of the little ones. All my daycare parents immediately went out and bought one when they found that their babies took naps easily with it and it made a difference for them too. I've had it for a year and used it night and day and it's still working great - wonderful value, esp for the low price!!

I chose this particular model opn the basis of description on Wal-Mart's web site. I wanted a particular sound, a brook. It was listed among the sounds for this model. BUT, when it arrived, it did not have it.
Though very helpful in falling asleep and has some very soothing sounds, I was disappointed. Be careful of the descriptions - not always true!

Does what it's supposed to do. Price (about $17 at Walmart.com) is great. Would be nice if it had a built-in radio, like the unit this one replaced, but I'm sure that would add to the cost--so it's a trade-off. Gave it four stars on durability, since I've only had it for a few weeks, ergo it's impossible to rate durability at this point. So far, so it's held up well and it appears to be well constructed. At this price, if I can get it to work for two or three years, I'll be happy. Looks very nice, but I'd have preferred black or dark brown. Overall, I'm happy with it.

I brought this for my boyfriend because he loves sleeping with fan on for the noise. This makes me extremely cold. so i brought this for him on valentines day, he loved it. We used that very night and he had an amazing sleep and i was able to stay warm. yay!

Bought this to replace an old one that wasn't working so well anymore after several years of night time use. Perfect product for drowning out noise so that our children can sleep. Perfect size, sound and volume quality and easy enough for a young one to turn on him or herself.

My daughter would run her ceiling fan at night (even when it was cold) because she liked the noise. The sound spa works much better and she stays warmer.
