I bought this sound machine when my daughter was a baby to use for white noise in her nursery. We used it in her room until my 2nd child was born. He is almost two and with constant use (never turned it off much) for the last 7 years, our machine has finally died. The sound quality is great. I'm sure the audio is on a loop, but I've never noticed it. All sounds are realistic- we like the ocean selection best for baby's room as it blends well with occasional street noise. I am also pleased that the price has come down on these. I think I paid twice as much the first time around and it was worth every penny!

I love the sound spa. There are six different sounds, so anybody should be able to find one that sooths them. I use the sound of the ocean and it's so realistic it's like sleeping on the beach! I can set it for a short time or continuous running. It's easy to turn on, has several volume settings, and takes up very little room.

I would recommend this product to anyone who has a problem with getting to sleep. The sounds are very soothing. I wish that it could be set for longer than one hour as I am usually awake for that first hour. But that's a small thing and sometimes I switch sounds at the end of an hour, anyway. All in all, it has helped my sleep pattern better than any over-the-counter sleep aid. Well worth the money.

Use this for my daughter every night, it is so convenient. I can set it for an hour once she's out and it gives us time to take care of stuff downstairs and come up stairs quietly and she is asleep. Blocks out the noise in the rest of the house so they can relax and just sleep.

We have three of these and they are great! Love that they have a power cord with it. HoMedics is one of the best brands for noise makers. We have always bought this brand...even when they were a different model.

This works great, just not sure why they would include thunder. But you have a lot of other options, so you don't need to use that particular sound. I love the fact that you do not have to use the timer, but can if you need to.

I searched for an inexpensive sound machine with multiple sound options, and this product fit the bill to a tee! It offers the options to stay on all night (which I need) or 15-60 minute automatic shut-off. It comes with the electric adapter, but also works on 4 AA batteries (not included). The sounds include rain, thunder, summer night, ocean, brook and white noise. All the sounds are excellent, and there's a volume control knob so you can control how loud or soft you want the sound to be. And it looks nice, too. I definitely recommend this product!

I needed a Sound Machine for my toddler, who wakes at any little noise. This machine is excellent - the "white noise" sound has been a God-send! It has a timer feature but I don't need that, the machine stays on all night. Great value and fantastic product!

we really like this sound machine. it has nice soft sounds. also can be run by battery or electric. I use the electric mode but i like to keep batteries in it so when the electric goes off, it will kick right into the battery mode and not wake the children by going off.

I have owned this product and it is a wonderful product. I use the nature sounds every night for 15 yrs. couldn't and can't sleep without this machine. I need no pills to calm me down, if you listen carefully for 5 mins, you will hear other subliminal sounds and there is no way you can stay awake. I usually don't do reviews, but I want people that can't sleep to know how wonderful this machine is. I love the crickets, ocean, rain, and Natue sound. Really, all you have to do is listen carefully to the sound and you will fall a sleep. Also, I am very close to my neighbors, and they start early in the morning starting there cars up, chain saws, lawn mowers, kids screaming, so I don't hear any of that, because I turn the sound up real loud.......I love it! I love it!

Product description is slightly inaccurate. The sounds are Ocean, Summer Night, Brook, Thunderstorm, Rain, White Noise. The White Noise setting is fine although it could be a bit louder. But the other sounds are so annoying they actually make it more difficult to sleep. For example, the Thunderstorm is a simple repitition of two thunder bolts separated by two seconds each. They could have at least recorded four or five distinct thunder bolts, separated these by varying lenghts of delay, and put it altogether in a 30+ second loop. Summer night is nothing more than a cricket chirping endlessly with no variation, no silence separating chirps, no hoot owl, nothing. Rain has a distinct clicking noise that occurs twice in a loop of about twenty seconds. Same with Brook. Vary annoying.

I ordered this to help me sleep at night. I have a difficult time falling to sleep and staying asleep. It makes a difference. I'm sleeping many more hours than before I bought it. I would recommend this to anyone who needs help falling asleep. It has many different sounds you can listen to. I like the "Brook" sounds.

Instructions in english easy to find and follow. this product is siimple and works great! Because it has a battery and plug in option is suited for home use or travel, This is a must have for noisy hotels or when you visit relatives with a Cpap or untreated snoring. This is the second one we have purchased , have one for home , another for travel! We bought a third as backup while sale was on!
