This table was easy for me to assemble, and it's perfect as a table for sitting behind the couch, to hold lamps. In a pinch I can bring it out, open it up and it provides extra dining places! The only negative is small--the wood pieces on the top have visible butting areas. But they're not too bad, especially considering the low price.

I've owned this table for over a year and have used it in the living room as a sofa table and in the family room as a game table. It is a sturdy, lovely piece of furniture and I highly recommend it. As noted by a previous reviewer, it takes two people to move the table, since the gatelegs open if you try to drag to a new location. Excellent value. Wait for a free or reduced shipping promotion for an even greater value!

This is a NICE table. Nicer than expected. The assembly was a bit of a pain, but I am NOT handy, and I managed it. It looks good, the finish is very nice, just as it appears in the photo. Am using it currently to put my TV on, folded, and it works great - very sturdy. When I put it in the tiny kitchen, it is just the right size, folded, for just me, and so nice to be able to open it when I have guests. Opens and closes easily. Awkward to move when folded, the folded legs tend to flop open, but easily accomodated and not a big deal. Overall, great table.

I had my eye on this table for quite some time before ordering. We entertain frequently and sometimes need an extra table for guests to be seated or to serve from. We didn't want something that takes up a lot of room or that we need to store. This table has met those needs and is a lovely console table for everyday. On those special occasions it is easy to open for an extra dining table. The price was excellent and assembly was a breeze.

I ordered this piece to use as a small dining table since space is limited in our small apartment. It's perfect! When it's just me and my husband we leave it in its smaller form to save space. But when people are over its easily converted to seat four. It arrived really quickly(even all the way to Hawaii!) and it was super easy to put together. I did it in about 20 minutes. This table is as attractive and functional as I had hoped, site to store delivery notification was prompt, and assembly was easy. For now I'm using it as a work/writing desk, and also as a breakfast table.
The finish looks as good in reality as it does in pictures, and the solid wood feels sturdy and satisfying. Very respectable packaging means the table arrived in perfect condition despite a dent/tear on the box. Assembly instructions were easy to follow, and I don't think I've ever seen parts as clearly labeled and packaged as with this product (and they even include one extra of every part).
