I bought a ten dollar clothes rack before this one to hang my jackets and coats up. By the next morning all of my coats were on the floor and the rack had apparently dismantled itself. I helped it by taking the rest of it apart and being mad at myself for throwing the box away. I've had this one two weeks with all of my heavy coats and jackets and it's still standing. Very sturdy, took twenty minutes to put together.

I needed additional hanging space and this turned out to be the perfect product. It's very sturdy when I wheel it around and goes from hardwood floors to carpet with no concern that it will topple. It's made of very good metal and all its connection points are very strong, so I'm not going to worry about it failing in any way, especially no chance of leaning. I also bought the cover that will keep the contents from getting dusty. Overall I really got something that's going to last several lifetimes.

I cannot tell you how many Garment Racks I have purchased in the past...only to have them tip over, bend and break due to the weight of clothing! FINALLY, I have found the perfect Garment Rack! Wow! This rack is great. It is sturdy and holds lots of clothes, also rolls easily both on carpet and tile. Right now I have it full of potted plants for the winter. The two shelves are full and hanging baskets are hanging from the middle rack. Well worth the money. Now I need another one for clothes.

I absolutely would recommend this clothing rack to anyone because it's great! It's very strong and reliable. I've bought cheap clothing racks that were flimsy and broke after I hung too many clothes on it. Well with this Whitmor Rack, I've got clothes piled on top of it, heavy coats and military uniforms hanging on it, and then on the bottom rack a whole bunch of military boots! It hold up WELL, I TOTALLY LOVE IT!!

I bought two of these, each to fill different needs. One will be for off-season storage and the other will be used as a drying rack for all of our hang dry laundry. The racks are perfect for both uses! My kids love the extra room they have in their closets now and I love my now clutter free laundry area! Both racks arrived ahead of schedule and were well packed so they were in great condition. Assembly was easy--less than 10 minutes per rack including prying open the box! If you need more storage--this rack is a great option!

Good rack. Top shelf is very useful. Took about 30 min to assemble but wasn't difficult. Seems sturdy. We are using it in the laundry room so a cover is not necessary. Would recommend it.

Overall a good product. Sturdy. Relatively easy to assemble. Purchased to use as a closet in a very small bedroom. Locking wheels are a nice touch (keeps it in place in a corner). Only criticism is it was a bit pricey ( 68.88 ) , but still 10 dollars cheaper than at KMart.

I'm completely happy with this garment rack. It's very sturdy and is currently holding 8 ladies suits and 4 dresses, and I know I could put many more on it with no problem. It's also very easy to put together. My husband assembled it about 15 minutes. The only thing I noticed is that one of the small pieces that came with it was broken, but they gave us an extra one, so it didn't really matter. Good product and worth the $$$!

My mom bought one of these over 5 years ago, and it's withstood a lot of abuse, without even a slight show of wear. So, I decided I needed to buy one for myself.
It's sturdy, easy to move, and is an overall good value for the price. The other racks I've bought were $30-50, but couldn't hold even 1/3 of what this holds.
What I did to make it even more space-efficient was buy the "Wonder Hangers" from Bed Bath and Beyond. OMG it made room for about 25% more clothes.
I use the top for purses, and the bottom for shoes. Great buy. I have so many clothes, might need to buy another one.
I highly recommend this product. My ONLY issue is that I wish it came in a cute color, like purple or pink, or maybe with flowers on it, but that's just me being a girly girl. LOL
