While this does work to some extent It does not work like I thought it was going to. First thing is to make sure you put it one right. Then bubbles go up with in the pool. I had it the other way but it did not seem to work with them down. But yes it does work but it will only heat down about 6 to 7 inch's.

Not only does the Solar blanket actually heat up the water (the top two inches get very warm) but the chlorine doesn't evaporate out of the water so fast and that saves money too.

This solar pool cover really works! Living in Ohio our nights get cool starting in July. This cover has extended the amount of time we are able to use the pool. I noticed a difference within 3 days! The top of the water (about 3-4 inches) was probably 15 degrees different that the bottom. We just get in a swirl it around and the whole pool is perfect! Great value too!

this product is suppose to raise the pool temperture by 8-10 degrees. i do not find that it does this. it is easy to put on and take off the pool. does help keep debree out of the pool.

We looked all over for a reasonable priced pool blanket and found it at Walmart.com. I wasn't going to spend a ton on something that will only be good for a year or 2. Our pool is warmer and cleaner. It could be a little bigger by just a few inches but other than that I can't complain.

Ok well first i should say that i live at 7Kft and it gets down to 50 every night even in the summer, this product did what it said it would it warmed the pool almost 10 degrees more but the water was still very chilly so i'm going to have to give in and just buy a pool heater but the solar blanket was still good as a pool cover and is very easy to whip on and off - also once off the top layer of warm water would cool quickly so again i'm just doing the quick dip in the freezing water until i get a real heater

We bought a 24ft round pool and this cover to go with it. Two days after setting up the pool and using the cover we had perfect temperature water to swim in. It only heats the top 18 inches of water but as soon as you get in and move around the water is delightful. We have live oaks all around the pool and it is doing an excellent job of keeping the debris out!

This does what it says. The water is warmer than if left to warm on its own. You must be realistic that this is not going to make the water bath-temp warm. It makes it more bearable for the kids to jump in. I bought a 15' blanket for our 12' pool for the overhang - wish I had gone larger so I could anchor it down with bricks or something. It tends to come off in the wind. Oh well, I'll figure out something. I'd recommend this product.

I bought this solar cover for my 14 ft. above ground Intex pool. I got the 15 ft. cover so there is extra around the edges which helps keep the cover on. It raised our pool 10 degrees in 2 days, just like it said it would. For the money, this is a great deal. We tried a different cover for $20 but it was just blue plastic (not like the bubble wrap style) and it wouldn't stay on the pool. The nice part about this one is one person can easily put it on and take it off which is very convenient.

We live in Northern Michigan, about 6 miles from Lake Huron. I purchased this solar cover in July, 2009. So far I'm pleased with it. It will keep your water warmer. We also live in a very windy area, & this cover is much better than the original cover that came w/the intex 18 ft. round pool.

This product really heats up the pool a good ten degrees. We were complaining about how cold our pool water was until we got this, but not now. It is lightweight and much easier to move than the cover that came with the pool but keeps the leaves off as well. Only gripe is that it is listed as 15 foot diameter but is at least a foot larger than our 15 foot pool.

This product does slightly warm the pool but the weather here has been cold so it is hard to determine how warm it heats it up. My guess is it has warmed it about 4 or 5 degrees. It is not as good as my previous solar blanket but then again it was about double the price at a pool store.

We had wanted a solar cover for our pool ever since we first bought it. I thought they were a little expensive at first but once we actually got it and used it I reconsidered that thought. This has been one of the best investments that we have made for our pool. Until we started using the solar cover the pool was staying kinda chilly. Now it is wonderful in there. The kids don't ever want to get out. So worth the money. It has even held up to the strong West Texas winds and storms. We have not had any problems with it at all. Great purchase.
